A little cheesy.

Matthew was busy working on something for his website and you were thoroughly bored. You were lying with your head on his lap having long given up on giving suggestions for new content.

You prodded his arm as you looked up at him. "Matty?"

"Hmm?" He didn't remove his gaze from the doodle-covered page.

"Why do you have to be so beautiful?"

His eyes flickered and he became bashful. "Pfft! I'm not!"

"You are."

"I'm really not."

"You really are."

He could hear the honesty in your words, making him believe that you knew it was true, even if he didn't think so himself.

He leant down to kiss you. "You're beautiful."

You booped his nose with your index finger. "Seriously though; why do you have to be so beautiful? It hurts my heart."

He chuckled as he set down the notepad on the arm of the chair. "You should get that checked out."

You stuck your tongue out at him, giggling as you retracted it. "Don't worry; it's a good thing. It just means that my heart truly belongs to you and that you're the only one who has it."

Matthew scrunched up his nose and covered his face with his hands, sliding his sleeves over them. He always did that when he was embarrassed. "That was so cheesy."

"You love it." You tried to pull his hands away. "Did I make you blush?"

"No..." He laughed as he held his hands firmly in place. You could just make out the red tinge spreading across his cheeks.

"I did! Aww, Matty!"

He swatted your hands away although amused at your display of affection.

"You're such a dork, Y/N!"

You pouted cutely at him. "But you love me so..."

He jokingly rolled his eyes. "I suppose I do."

You stuck your tongue out at him again, sitting up and leaning into him. "Cuddle with me?"

"I guess I can take some time out of my busy schedule to cuddle with my beloved." He settled into the couch, pulling you into his embrace.

"I love you, Matty."

He kissed the top of your head. "I love you too, munchkin."
