A/N- in this story you have both parents, the mother is toxic in a way that she tries to guilt trip you into everything and overreacts to everything, whereas your father is a kind hearted gentleman who is always overpowered by your mother when it comes to parenting

Your POV
I woke up in my room feeling hungry, I go to stand up and when I do I almost passed out. I went to get a little bit of food. I walk into the kitchen to be greeted my my best friend Lilith having a conversation with my mom like always. I don't understand how they get along so well.

I get some toast then go to my room to get ready for the day. Lilith left to go to work. I put my makeup on then was just about to walk out the door when my mom called for me.

I turn around to see her and she stared at me dead in the eyes. She then said "You cannot go out with your makeup looking like that". I replied with "Mom I only have eyeliner and mascara on why are you so bothered" "because it looks bad" I was shocked "it's my face I can put whatever makeup I want on" "YOU ARE MY DAUGHTER YOU DO AS I SAY" "ITS MY CHOICE WHY ARE YOU SO MAD ABOUT IT" she was now right in front of me"BECAUSE ITS DISTASTEFUL" "MYYY MAKEUP IS DISTASTEFUL LOOK AT WHAT YOUR WEARING NONE IF IT LOOKS GOOD"

She, for the first time since I was little, slapped the absolute shit out of me. I then got up and immediately locked myself in my room and texted Lilith. I then fell asleep because I was so emotionally drained from crying.
When I woke up my dad walked in and tried to make me feel better about everything and get my mother to apologize to me. She then said "I don't regret it, you deserved it for being disrespectful". She then walked away and my dad after her to talk to her.

I immediately grabbed my duffel bags from my closet and packed it with as many clothes that would fit as well as my necessities, grabbed my car keys and drove to Lilith's house.
