Chapter Four

I was stuck in this room for over a week, I was slowly healing from the silver, but I was getting weaker cause I didn't drink blood in a while. Nobody came in my room, I haven't seen the Alpha since our last encounter, I would be lying if I said I didn't have an urge to see him, I didn't know why I was still here, nobody even came to interrogate me. I felt my head pounding, the room began to spin, I tried to bang on the door but I felt so weak, I could barely stand up and everything became black.

I opened my eyes, blinking a couple of times to adjust to the light, I sat up and looked around the room, I was on my bed, I was perplexed because the last thing I remember I wasn't even on my bed. I turned to look on the nightstand and there was a glass of blood, I felt so thirsty, I drunk all of it in one go. I could tell from the taste that it wasn't human blood, it was animal blood, it wasn't as sweet, but I guess I couldn't complain.

I felt my energy steadily coming back, I heard the door unlocking and the gamma walked in. "Oh hey Smurf." I greeted with a grin and he gave me a death glare, if looks could kill I would be 6 feet under. "The alpha would like to see you in his office." He declared and I jumped out of my bed. The gamma walked infront me and I moved along behind him, we talked down the hallway and stopped in front of a door to what I assumed was the Alpha's office.

"Go in." he opened the door, I walked in hesitantly and he shut the door behind me, I saw the Alpha sat in his chair, buried deep into his work, his hair looked quite messy, probably due to running his fingers through it, this man was just gorgeous. I cleared my throat to get his attention and he moved his gaze to me, I felt my face heat up from the intensity of his eyes.

I leaned against the wall, raising my eyebrows and waiting for him to speak up. "What is your name?" his deep voice questioned, which sent tingles up my spine. "Kiara." I replied.

"Kiara.." he tested my name, the way my name rolled off his tongue was satisfying, it sounded so much better when he said my name.

"And yours?" I crossed my arms, looking at him in curiosity, he looked conflicted, like whether he should tell me his name or not.

"Xylus."

"Alright, Xylus...Why am I here?" he walked around his desk, staring at me with the same intensity. Does this guy not know how to smile?

"You are here to tell me why you were trespassing on my territory." He spoke with so much authority and I scoffed at that.

"Didn't the smurf out there told you what I said?"

His eyes were shining red, probably cause I scoffed and he's not used to the disrespect, but unlucky for him I couldn't care less.

"You will stay here until you give me all the information" I looked in utter shock.

"Alright wolfie, you must be on something to think that I am going to stay here, so bye, adios, sayonara, auf wiedersehen." I waved before exiting his office and making my way downstairs, I heard him calling my name but I ignored it.

"Stop walking away from me!" I rolled my eyes before turning to face him.

"Oh sorry Alpha, I didn't know I had to ask your permission to be excused." I spoke mockingly and bowed dramatically, his eye colour turned blood red to show his anger and I smirked in victory.

"Let me get something straight, I am not one of you, so don't you start treating me like I am."

I tried to walk away again but I felt a hand grabbing onto my wrist, and pushed me against the wall.

"You will not leave." His warm breath tickled my skin and my breathing quickened at our proximity.

"Well aren't you kinky?" I whispered seductively, tracing my index finger on his jawline, he closed his eyes as he was breathing heavily. When he opened his eyes, his eyes weren't purple and blue anymore, it was shining silver, I looked up at his hair, it wasn't the silky brown hair I was used to seeing, it was also silver to match his eyes, a light gasp escaped my lips.

His wolf took over.
