Callie's POV
We were both sat on each end of Arizona's new couch, we could hardly speak a word to one another. I began twiddling my thumbs, staring at the fruit bowl on the coffee table.  I had the weird feeling that someone was looking at me and my eyes immediately shot up to Arizona. It felt like looking into two, deep pools, I missed staring into her eyes. She gazed back down to the floor, I couldn't help but stare at her, checking out every single part of her from head to toe. "Calliope you have a girlfriend. Arizona is just.. just- a friend" I thought.

Arizona's POV
I had noticed that Callie couldn't keep her eyes away from me. Every time she looked like she was going to say something she shut her mouth again.
"Calliope," I said quietly I'm even surprised she heard me. Her eyes shot back up to mine. I was lost in her breathtaking smile, so lost that I completely forgot what I was gonna say to her!
"Um so how are you and uh Penny doing?" I randomly asked.
"Why has Sofia not told you from when she last stayed?" She replied with. I was quite confused what was my little girl not telling me. I shook my head at her with a puzzled face.
"Well me and Penny have been arguing quite a lot, we can't find a way to spark again. Sofia has said to me that she doesn't want to stay as long as there's arguing," I couldn't believe what was coming out of Calliope's mouth.
"So are you guys working it out or?" I didn't really know what to say. I mean I've never liked Penny, she took my wife away from me, she killed Derek, she almost had my daughter in New York with her!
"I'm not too sure, she's talked about moving on but I don't know if I'm ready too," said Callie, "I've been trying to fix it."
"Yeah Calliope YOU may be trying to fix it but a real relationship, well that takes two, if she's not willing to try and save you guys then maybe that's all you need to know." Callie looked up at me and I saw a small tear running down her face. I moved closer to her. "Hey it's ok, don't cry," I whispered wiping the tear from her cheek. "It's ok," I said again pulling her in for a hug. I could feel her head digging into my shoulders, my t-shirt soaking through with her tears. I missed the feeling I used to get when Callie hugged me. The feeling I used to get when I knew she was mine. My Calliope, used to be my Calliope-

Callie's POV
Once our hug broke, I felt slightly happier. I guess that's just something Arizona's really good at, making people smile. We had been talking for about half an hour, and we both completely forgot about Sofia! Our heads turned towards each other and I could tell that we both had that motherly instinct that something was wrong. We bolted up the stairs and darted into Sofia's room. I suddenly felt a sense of relief, Sofia was laying peacefully in her bed.
"Is she okay?" I heard a voice whisper from behind me.
"Yeah she's absolutely fine," I replied I moved over a little so she could see for herself. A small sigh of relief escaped from Arizona's mouth.

We both made our way back down onto the living room couch, Arizona was shaking like crazy! Was it because of Sofia? Was it because of me? I put my hand gently on her back to comfort her.
"Hey Arizona, what's wrong?" usually she's really easy to figure out, but she just seemed so scared I had no idea what was going on in her head.
"It's just last time she was that quiet she- she," her breathing started getting a little shakier, she was trying to get every little bit of air she could.
"Hey calm down, it's ok!" I whispered to her "just take deep breaths." Arizona started to control her breathing, she wasn't exactly shaking as much either. "How about you tell me what happened ok?" She gave me a small nod, and turned her head towards me.
"The last time Sofia was that quiet she fell over and must've hit her head, I have no Idea how long she was out for," Arizona had that look in her eyes that just said, don't kill me.

Arizona's POV
Callie started to look mad, like really mad.
"It's ok it was an easy stitch, and I got her a head ct to make sure she was ok!" I was praying that Callie wasn't going to get too angry with me, she just kind of had that look on her face that just explained everything. "Ok Callie I get it, it's my fault I should've been looking after her. But instead I was making sure her dinner was just how she wanted" A smile crept up her face, and she let out a little laugh.
"Arizona, I wasn't getting angry with you, these things happen, I just wish you told me." Callie was being really comforting, I forgot how amazing it was when Callie's around. "I'm going to go and let you get some sleep," Callie continued, "I'll see you both tomorrow." Part of me didn't want Callie to leave, I wanted her to stay here. She started to walk away towards the door, I heard the door handle slowly turn. "Stay here!" I blurted out, "I mean um you can stay tonight if you'd like to. I think Sofia would like to wake up to the two of us here in this strange place for her." I tried to make it about Sofia just so she didn't think I was desperate. She had a huge smile on her face, "Are you sure?" She asked, I knew she wanted to stay here tonight, she would want to get away from all of the drama with Penny. So I gave her a nod and a comforting smile.
"I can get the spare bedroom ready for you if you'd like," I slowly started to get up on my feet, stood and waited for Calliope's answer.
"I would love that Arizona," she replied softly.
