Part 6

          About a month later, Eli and naib had moved into their new home. It wasn't large, or fancy but it was perfect for the pair. While Naib was exited to start his life with Eli, Eli was exited to have a restart of some sorts. 

          Eli was doing better, but he still had a lot of recovering to do. Eli considered himself very lucky to have Naib, he didn't know where he would be without Naib. Naib helped him with whatever he needed, if it was affection, food, or reassurance.  Eli felt bad because he didn't know how to return the affection or if Naib would be ok with it, but he really wanted to. Eli felt a strong feeling for Naib but his head was very clouded, and he couldn't seem to tell what him, or anyone else felt.  Although he wasn't very aware of that it upset him, because he didn't know if  Naib felt comfortable with affection.

          Naib was happy, he was happy to see Eli, doing better, he was happy to be with him. Although Eli felt better, Naib wanted to tell him how much he loved him, and make him feel like he used to. But Naib knew he couldn't do that, Eli needed to recover more and he doubted a relationship would be good for the boy. Even though he knew that, he showered Eli with affection, but he did that because he knew Eli wanted, and needed it.

          They fell asleep with those thoughts, and they woke up in each others arms, and laid there and snuggled with each other for a bit. They laid there until the sun rose Eli had his arms wrapped around Naibs neck, and snuggled into his chest, while naib held him close, and Naib held Eli close and stroked his hair. They laid like that but eventually Naib spoke "Eli we should probably eat something". Eli groaned, and snuggled into his neck harshly. Naib laughed "haha, are you trying to get into my skin or something?" Eli just groaned again, and Naib said "Alright up we go!" and heaved the larger boy up. Eli loudly groaned, Naib just grabbed Eli's cheeks and laughed then pressed a kiss against his eyelid. It took them a minute to realize but when they did Eli's face went red and his eyes shot open, and Naib let go of Eli's face and spoke "I- I'm sorry!" Eli still looked shocked but he raised his hand to his lips smiled a bit and said "Its alright, I enjoyed it." Naib just responded with  quiet "a- alright."

          Naib noticed throughout the day that Eli seemed to be more clingy. When they sat down on the couch to eat Eli would lay on naibs shoulder, or when they watched TV Eli would climb into Naib's arms and snuggle into him. Doing that wasn't a change for them it was just strange for Naib that Eli was the one initiating the affection instead of him. When Naib asked "Hey what's up with you?" Eli just replied "hmm?" Naib responded "Your just very cuddly today, you've never been like that, its always been me rubbing up to you in a way.." Eli took a bit but eventually said, "I just feel like its ok to reciprocate now that you kissed me, it just gave me reassurance that I feel the way I feel I guess.." Naib shifted a bit, looked away and said "W- what do you mean by that?" Eli just quietly said "I just think I love you, I think I have for a while but when you kissed me earlier it made me feel really nice, it made me feel good again.. I just think that helped me realize that. I don't think I'm ready for a relationship right now but I would love to consider one when I get a bit better mentally." Naib was speechless, he didn't really expect Eli, to feel the same but when the words finally came to him he said "That's ok I don't want to rush you or anything and I'll wait for you as long as it takes. I didn't say it earlier but I love you so much, I always have, I want to give you all the love you've ever needed, and I just want to make you feel as good as you make me feel." Naib let out a large breath that he didn't know he was holding, but he was brought back to reality by the other boy crashing into him. Naib looked down and wrapped his harms around Eli and held the boy close. They sat there for a bit then Eli responded "I promise I won't make you wait long.." and he held Naib closer. After sitting with each other in happy silence for about fifteen minutes Naib said "We should probably get to bed.." Eli nodded into the others chest, and hugged Naib tighter for a couple seconds before sighing, and getting up to head to bed.

          When they were in bed Naib spooned Eli, cuddling was natural, but it felt so different. Due to this Naib acted on impulse and leaned over Eli and pressed a kiss to his temple. Naib realized wat happened and started praying that Eli wasn't awake while he laid back down. Only for Eli to slide his hand over Naib's and lace their fingers. In response Naib pulled Eli closer, the two boys falling asleep with soft smiles on their faces, finally feeling content with their lives.
