Part 8

          They had been living with each other for about six months, and everything finally started to look up. Eli was better now, he had gotten a lot better mentally he wasn't grieving anymore and he could get back to living normally. They both got jobs with a good pay and lived comfortably they were only missing one thing, each other. 

          Eli felt ready to move on, and he wanted to move on with Naib. He knew that, but he didn't know how he would bring that up to Naib. Eli had never been one for words, He was always quiet and closed off, and the little social skills he had he lost after Gertrude passed. Because of this Eli tried things like taking Naib to dinner, or giving him flowers as a way to try to tell him he was ready. Unfortunately Naib was very dull when it came to picking up when someone was trying to flirt with him. 

          After multiple failed attempts to get Naib to notice Eli's romantic gestures, he came to the resolution that he needed to talk to him, which failed no matter how many times he tried. But Naib finally noticed something, He could tell Eli was trying to tell him something so he asked Eli "Hey do you need to tell me something, seems like there's something on your mind."  Eli shifted uncomfortably for a bit, then spluttered out "I'm sorry! I just wanted to tell you that I'm ready to be with you,  but I'm not good at talking to people, and I tried flirting with you but it didn't work... I'm sorry.." Naib sat mouth ajar, then spoke "Eli, your silly all you had to say was "I'm ready"" with a chuckle. Eli quietly responded, "Sorry.." Naib giggled again and said, "It's alright, come here." Eli crawled into Naib's lap and they cuddled for a bit. 

          After a bit Eli tugged at Naibs shirt causing him to look down, and Eli said with a bright smile "Are we finally together?" Naib chuckled and said "As long as that fine with you." Eli nodded into Naibs neck and they sat like that for a bit longer until Eli asked "If we are dating then can you kiss me, Its been a while my lips are quite cold." Naib laughed then responded, "I would love that, dear." Eli blushed a bit then looked up at Naib and wrapped his arms around Naib's neck still wearing a large grin. They sat like that until they both silently agreed they were ready and pressed their lips together. They both felt their cheeks heat up while they felt the best sensation they have ever experienced. They let their lips rest together for a bit, but eventually parted both wearing grins. They cuddled together for a bit then both said at the same time "I love you." They giggled together, both finally feeling content with their lives and with each other.

After a bit Eli said "I finally feel at home again."

That was the end! I hope you all liked it sorry if the ending seemed rushed. But yeah I'm not as into idv anymore and I'm more focused on genshin and I'm starting a new fic, Its Razor x Bennett if anyone would be interested, It should be up tomorrow.
