Part 2

          When they walked into the room and saw the blonde women Naib immediately knew that the blonde was dead. While Naib wanted to pull Eli out of the room the short haired boy had made his way over to the women. Eli turned Gertrude's lifeless body around to face him, to overcome with happiness to realize the state she was in. Eli wrapped his arms around Gertrude and quietly said "i'm home!" Naib wanted to say something but couldn't bring himself to it so he just watched the other boy hold the women in silence waiting for an awakening that wouldn't come.
          A couple minutes after staring at the ground Naib heard a thump, which he looked up to find Eli's body sloppily laid on the floor. Naib stayed still until he heard a whimper from the other, then rushed to make sure he wasn't hurt. When he walked over he saw that Eli was crying, Naib then hesitated to touch the boy but ended up lightly laying a hand on the taller boys shoulder. After a few minutes of rubbing Eli's arm lightly Eli raised to face Naib and asked "she's really gone isn't she?" Naib could only nod in response to that, after a couple seconds that seemed like an hour Eli flopped into Naibs arms in which Naib caught the vulnerable boy. Naib held the other tightly and rocked him back and forth for a few minutes then asked if he wanted to leave the dreary room then Eli responded with a weak "yes."
            Naib picked the taller boy up and carried him to the living room, he then laid the boy down on the couch with his head on the shorter boys lap. While Eli wept Naib draped is hand over Eli's  waist while the other hand lightly ran through the taller boys hair. They laid like that for a while until Then Eli grabbed the hand around his waist and held it in between his hands and chest. That action made Naib flush, the action wasn't in an affectionate way but made the shorter boys heart flutter. Although he wanted to cuddle up to the boy, he had to keep his composure not wanting to evade his personal space while he was in this state. Naib thought about how the other was in a relationship, he was so calm yet he couldn't see the boy as anything but clingy.
              After a couple hours of Naib thinking about Eli, and Eli silently crying in the others lap Eli said "I'm tired." Naib then stopped running his hand through the others hair and asked, "Do you have a spare room?" Eli nodded and pointed further down the hallway to a door that was past the room he and Gertrude once shared. Naib lifted the boy and brought him to the room where he laid Eli down on the bed. Naib then asked "do you have other clothes in the room?", which Eli then nodded in response to. Naib wanted to make the visit to the other room quick scared that something would happen to Eli, but when he reached the room he felt he needed to do something for Eli. He grabbed the clothes for Eli, then looked over to Gertrude's body for a couple minutes. He then decided he would change the women's position to one where people lay in coffins, he also grabbed a couple of fake flowers from the vase in the room and laced them in between her hands.
              When Naib returned to the spare room he saw the other shaking so Naib ran over to comfort him. They sat there for a bit, and when Eli's breathing calmed down he said "I'll be alright i just didn't want you to leave. Naib felt his cheeks warm a bit, but then handed the boy his clothes. Naib asked "Do you want me to step out?" to which Eli responded "please don't, just don't look." Naib nodded and Eli gave a weak smile, then Naib turned around. After Eli was done he tapped Naib's shoulder so he would turn around. Naib blushed after seeing the boy in clothes other than the cloaks he always wore. Eli crawled under the covers and Naib asked "Do you want me to stay?" and Eli responded with a weak nod.
              Eli was faced to Naib's back, he felt comfortable with the shorter boy with him. Even though he felt better knowing Naib was there it couldn't push aside the multiple conflicts rushing around in his head. He didn't know why Gertrude had to die, he didn't understand why she would deserve that. He didn't understand why he had to go to the manor just to come back to his lovers lifeless body. He just wanted to be happy with someone, a thing he had never felt in his life after being neglected his entire life. He lay with those thoughts and much more rushing through his head which made more tears spill over. He didn't realize it but he had been gripping to the bottom of the other boys shirt, which ended up giving him the thought that everything will be ok. Even though it was a brief feeling he felt safe with Naib and that stuck with him. Eli wanted to be closer to the boy, he quietly asked Naib "Could you hold me."
              That sentence knocked Naib out of his own thoughts. He wasn't concerned about anything but Eli, he didn't know if he was was going to be ok. He wasn't sure if he would be to pushy by asking Eli to open up, not that he would anyways. He also wanted to pull him into a hug and tell him he would be ok. Although he couldn't say that because he wouldn't believe it and he didn't want to make him uncomfortable by touching him to much. Although Naib responded by turning around and pulling the other into the tight hug he doubted he should do.
             Eli made a small squeak, but then cuddled up to Naib. They moved around a bit until they got comfortable, then laid there. Eli felt warm in Naib's embrace and helped him calm down and eventually fall asleep. Naib laid there for a bit stroking the others hair, the only thought going through is head was that he needed to protect Eli. His thoughts were interrupted by the soft noise of Eli's breathing indicating he had fallen asleep. Naib then pushed Eli's hair away from his forehead and placed a light kiss on the others head. After that Naib declared he would stay with Eli forever, and fell asleep soon after.

Hey, quick authors note. Sorry for the slow updates they are probably going to be like this for now at least due to low motivation and me being busy in general. I also don't remember where i was supposed to go with this lol so idk how many parts that there are going to be, but i'll write an ending out either way!
