Finally, the school day was over for myself and the fellow seniors. I put on my outdoor shoes and made my way to pick up Ami and take her to her friends for the weekend. Ami was always at someone's house on the weekend. Truthfully, she deserved it, things felt hard and struggling enough at home, especially with Mama and Papa working long hours all the time.

After dropping Ami off, I then made my way back home. Tiredly. Which made the walk a lot longer than normal. A sigh had left my lips as I kept my eyes ahead of me while reaching my arms up above me, stretching, I had stopped at a crosswalk, yawning. I had suddenly stopped in my tracks.

Across the way, it looked like Utau, her golden blonde hair, her purple eyes, some moments went by and it was time to walk and I anxiously made my way across, Ran, Miki, and Su were already back home, as well as Dia. My eyes could have been playing tricks on my mind. I  don't think, nor should I believe that he's back.

She isn't back, There's no way that she's here. Utau would've said something. She would have told me she was coming back for a visit. As I made my way to the yard of the house, I began to continue second guess my friendship with Utau. She and I were close but not as close as I would have liked. Utau was always there for me. She hadn't lied to me. I mean she even told me that Ikuto had contacted her every now and then even though he didn't want her telling me anything.

I announced that I was home to the charas and they all greeted me excitedly. I gave them a small smile as I changed out of my uniform and into a pair of shorts and a tank top. While I was changing, I explained the weird hallucination that I had on my way home, I then also explained to them that I didn't know if I should believe that Utau was here or not.

As I began to pick up my discarded uniform, I then began to hear a knock at the door. Confusedly, I walked down to the door answering it, and I stood there, shocked and also excited. It was Utau.

"Amu..!" Utau exclaimed excitedly as she nearly tackled me into a hug, wrapping my arms around her waist, I hugged Utau back and grinned widely. "So it was you that I saw!" I said excitedly. We let each other go from the hug and I stepped to the side, letting her enter the house. closing the door behind us, I then smiled at her. "Utau, I've missed you so much, things haven't been the best." I stated.

"I'm taking a year off." She started, causing me to look at her in awe. "I want to enjoy some time in my hometown, and I want to be able to see my friends and actually enjoy my relationship with Kukai." She hummed with a smile, making me smile in return. "I've missed you and the others a lot." She finished explaining.

I grinned at her, I was so happy to know that she was taking a year off. She's always working, always overworking herself. "Welcome home Utau," I said to her softly "I can't wait to spend more time with you."
