Yo, Amu.

Chapter 6.

As time went on it began to get dark. Mama and Papa had sent me a text earlier stating that they were picking Ami up. Ikuto and I stood up, Yoru asleep on Ikuto's shoulders, the girls in their eggs which are in the bag that hangs on my hip. 

"Come on, Amu," Ikuto says blandly. "I'm walking you home"

I only nod my head with a small sigh and start walking toward the path to the house. Hearing Ikuto follow me, I wrap my arms around myself, the walk being longer than usual, due to the lack of sleep I had been I yawn and stretch my arms out above my head, stopping just outside the gate of the house.

I look over towards Ikuto and smile at him. "Thank you for today, Ikuto. I had a lot of fun" I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him tightly. "I hope we can hang out more, now that you're here." I stepped back from him just before he could even hug me, and even before Papa could see. 

We all know how that would turn out if he were to see. I hummed softly and started to walk towards the door of the house and headed inside, up to my room. I grabbed a clean set of pajamas and my bathroom stuff before walking into the bathroom to take a shower. 

my shower was quick, I changed into my pajamas and went back into my room, and had a glass of warm milk like I do most nights, I then crawl sit on my bed, humming slightly. 

"Amu, We had a lot of fun!" Ran said. "Yeah! It was great seeing Yoru and Ikuto desu~" Su followed after with a soft giggle coming from Miki. 

"I had fun too, girls, I'm glad they're both back and safe" I smiled softly, looking at the three, while Dia had gone to bed moments ago. Today was a good day, and I'm glad that it happened, Not only did I have fun, I felt happy, happier than I've felt in a long, long while. 

Soon, I began to hear a light tapping on my sliding door to my balcony. I get up, opening it, and I see none other than Ikuto and Yoru. "This is something I hadn't seen in a while." I giggle softly, looking up at him, as Yoru flew into my room and began to visit the girls. Ikuto smirked, that same smirk he did back when we were younger. "Why of course, why wouldn't I come to visit you, little strawberry~" He teased. 

I rolled my eyes, stepping back into my room with him following after. I sit on my bed, looking up at him. "I came to make sure you're okay, I know you're tired." He said sitting beside me. I forgot that I had told him. I instantly felt regret for telling him that, I regret telling Utau that too. I wasn't going to lie or even fight him on it. 

He had slipped his shoes off out on the balcony before he came in, and he's now laying up against the wall, looking up at me. With a small annoyed groan, I laid beside him after Ran turned out the lights.

Ikuto laid on his side and pulled me closer to him, my eyes closing while my hands and forehead rested against his chest after I pulled up my blanket of us both. "I'm glad you're back home, Ikuto.." I muttered softly, quickly falling asleep. "I'm glad to be home, Amu.." He whispered in my ear soon falling asleep as well. 

The charas were all asleep in the playhouse that Ami gave them a long time ago. I could feel the nightmare coming, but Ikuto's arms would tighten around my waist and the feeling would go away. It's nice to have the safety and security that I've been craving to finally be here.
