The morning had soon come. I snuggled closer into the warmth beside me, a soft chuckle erupting from the body beside me, causing me to open my eyes and look up at them almost in a panic. I had forgotten that Ikuto had stayed the night. I had woken fully refreshed for once and truth be told it's actually nice.
Ikuto leaned down and pressed a kiss to my forehead. "Good morning, Amu" he hummed out softly. The kiss on my forehead caused me to blush while I still looked up at him. "Morning," I said bluntly, still not a morning person and I'm sure that he knows this. "Still not a morning person?" He said softly. All I had to do was shake my head while he let out a small chuckle. I then sit up and look over at him. "I'll see you later..right..?" I asked softly. He nodded his head, Yoru now flying over to Ikuto. "Morning, Yoru." I greeted softly, getting up from my bed and walked over to my closet. "Morning, nya~!" He returned while the two headed to the glass door.
I hummed, making sure they were gone, my curtains closed and I change into a skirt, capris-length leggings, and a tank top over a long sleeve t-shirt. I walked down to the living room, greeted by mama and papa, Ami eating pancakes. Soon before I could take my own seat there was a knock at the front door, the girls starting to make their way down.
I open the front door to only be greeted by Ikuto and Yoru. "Since no one else can see me, act surprised that Ikuto is back, nya~!" Yoru said before making his way back to my room. "Amu, who is it?" Mama asked as she came over, I had quickly put on my best-surprised face. "Oh! Ikuto! You're back! How were your travels?" She asked while also inviting him in.
"They were well, thank you," he said stepping inside the house, removing his own shoes as Mama and I stepped aside and lead the way to the table. "I was hoping on inviting Amu over for dinner tonight so we can get caught up, my sister Utau will be home tonight and wants to see her as well" he lied, but no one else by me knew that. "Of course!" Mama exclaimed while Papa started crying "but Amu is too young!" All the while Mama claimed that I'm at that age, with Papa responding that we hated him and 'ran away' into the bathroom.
I had sighed, more frustrated than anything, and looked over at Mama who was putting a plate together for Ikuto. "I'm glad you're back, Ikuto, it's nice to see one of Amu's friends again." She smiled softly as she set the plate in front of him as well as a glass of milk.
"Thank you" he smiled at her while I quietly ate my breakfast. Ami remembered Ikuto and began asking him a lot of questions about where he was, what did he do, was he still in school, all those intrusive questions that would make just about anyone uncomfortable.
