The streets were already loud when Tanjiro's alarm went off, adding to the commotion. Shifting in his bed, the red-eyed boy gently pressed on the snooze button, forgetting about school and going back to his dreams. Fifteen minutes had passed, causing his sister to worry.

"Brother, it's our first day of high school; I don't want to be late!" Nezuko shouted from the other side of the door. Tanjiro opened his tired eyes slightly, thinking about what she said.

"HOLY- That's right!" He ran to the bathroom in a hurry and began preparing for school.

When he was done dressing, they walked downstairs to eat the breakfast their mother cooked. Nezuko was already ahead of him, so he chowed down his food to get caught up.

"I can't believe you forgot we had school," Nezuko spoke, taking the last sip of her green tea.

"I guess my mind is still with summer break-" Tanjiro laughed awkwardly, his sister smiled back.

"Well, we gotta go now."

"Wait!- I'm almost done!"

The Kamado siblings walked to their High School as students for the first time. There were already a lot of people by the time they got there, and they were early. The entrance ceremony was an hour away, but you always want to come early to a place you've never been to before. The two went their separate ways to explore the school and agreed to meet at the gym when it was time. He decided to visit the freshman classrooms.

'There are so many rooms; I wonder where mine is...'

Tanjiro kept looking for his homeroom until he eventually found it in the middle of the hall.

"Here we go! 2B." He said, entering the classroom. The room was empty and quiet like nobody was at the school. He found it weird but proceeded to look around. There were thirty-three seats. He mentally called dibs on the first-middle one. As he got closer to the back, he found a backpack by a desk. He got close enough to see someone's name written on it.

"What does that say... Ino..su-" Before he could finish his sentence, his head began pounding.

"Hey! You're not supposed to be in the classroom until after the ceremony is completed!" A male voice shouted from a distance. Tanjiro apologized the best he could with his headache and left the room. He looked at the time on his phone; the ceremony was about to begin. The red-eyed boy walked to the gym rapidly. His sister was waiting by the entrance.

"There you are! come on, let's find a good seat on the bleachers before someone beat us to it!" She encouraged.

"Ok!" Her brother replied more confidently, recovering from his sudden headache. There were only eats by the back at that point; although they weren't that great, it was good enough. The siblings sat simultaneously. Tanjiro began the conversation.

"It happened again."

"What happened."

"I got a sudden headache, but I'm all better now." He smiled.

"If it happens again or if you still need it, I have some medicine in my bag."

The entrance ceremony commenced, and everyone quiet down. The principal made his speech and welcomed all the freshmen. Even though everybody saw this coming, this wouldn't be a regular school day, but more of a training one. That's why the freshman start one day ahead of everyone else to get used to the system and walk around campus. The staff committee walked to their assigned stations; it was a table with a sign of letters indicating where you should go depending on your last name to get your schedule.

The freshman made their way to their tables. Nezuko helped Tanjiro walk down the bleacher's stairs to make sure he didn't get another headache and fell. When it was finally their turn in line, they took a look at their classes and made sure they didn't have a last-minute change.

"Yay! That's good; we're in all classes together once again." Nezuko cheered.

"I'm not surprised. It's been this way since we started going to school."

"True. I wonder what our teachers will be like this year; I hope I get to meet a nice female teacher. Every single one I've had so far looks at me like they're going to fail me on the spot."

"It could be because you eat in class." Tanjiro giggled. They followed the group they were assigned to as they talked.

"Hey! I'm just a growing girl. My male teachers don't seem to mind. Maybe that's why all of the female ones are short; they didn't eat enough in class."

"You're weird." Her brother teased.

The Kamado siblings continued their 'first day of school' as high school students, not aware of what the future holds.
