Inosuke went back to his place after his business was done with Doma. He was still disappointed in himself for not being strong enough to defend himself from a demon, but it wasn't any demon, it was one of the twelve Kizuki, and he was after his friends. He was wise to threaten the slayer with his greatest and only weak spot. As Inosuke laid on his bed staring at his ceiling, he knew the girl he took the blood from was going to be very ill.

Doma claimed to have known him when he was younger and his mother and lived together. When he heard this for the first time, he was filled with so much fury he didn't know how to react. It's not like he could have done anything. Fighting a Kizuki while tied up to a tree to avenge his mother's death wasn't an ideal position. From the moment he saw him, he knew there was something different to him, he had seen the guy before, and when he explained himself, he was sure the demon was no other than the one who killed his mother.

The reason he joined the demon slayer corps was to be able to find the culprit, and now he had found him. But he can't give that away with his actions; he had to act as if it didn't bother him, as if he didn't care, as if he never thought about all those nights he called out for his dead mother to come to cure his injuries or read him stories. The second Kizuki was going to feel years of constant suffering one day when he least expects it. And the thought alone was enough for him to want to get stronger.

"I will avenge your death, mother. I have found who did this to you after all this time, and I promise I won't fail." As he finished his sentence, he could feel a lump in his throat, like he was about to cry.

The next day, Nezuko woke up to Zenitsu, knocking on her door.

"Come in!" She hollered, half asleep.

"Nezuko-chan! There is a demon slayer that is very sick. We think she may die!"

"Take me there right now!"

The blonde led Nezuko to the place of the sick girl. She was surrounded by her two friends, who were concerned about why she felt so sick all of a sudden. They explained how she had a weak body and immune system, but she had never gotten this bad in the past; she looked like she could die any second.

"What are your symptoms, Yui-chan?" One of her friends questioned. She had long, straight pink hair, light green eyes, and a slim figure.

"I feel... very... nauseous..." Yui replied between slow breaths, "my mouth is watering a lot..."

"Don't leave us!" Her other friend exclaimed dramatically. She had her pale green hair tied up in a messy bun with enchanting big round gray eyes.

Nezuko was worried for her; she's encountered the girl in the past. Her clumsiness was hard to miss, yet she knew she was a stranger to them, who was called because Zenitsu happened to pass by the group of girls and told her. She had to introduce herself, at least. She took a deep breath and widened her eyes.

"My name is Nezuko Kamado, and I will do anything to help even though we don't know each other!" She blurted out seriously. Zenitsu cheered in the background. She was so determined it was almost funny, funny enough for the pink-haired girl to chuckle ever so slightly.

"You seem like a nice person, I'm Kaiya Amari, and this is my friend Toki Fujiwara. I hope we can get along with you and your friend-..." She paused

"I'm Zenitsu!" The boy tried to imitate Nezuko's spirit when she presented herself.

"And Zenitsu." Kaiya smiled.

"I'm so ashamed of myself. Meeting nice people is so rare for me, and I'm in this pitiful state..." Yui blushed more, making herself look sicker.
