Twelve - Power Outage

Y/n POV:

"So, what should we do now?" I ask.

"It's only 8pm....let's find some board games!" he takes my hand and leads me upstairs.

He goes into the hallway closet and searches for the board games with his phone flashlight.

"Monopoly?" he asks and I shake my head.

"What about.....Pictionary?" 

"Nope"

"Uhhh...Operation?"

"Uh-uh"

"Life?"

"You know what game I love to play, Mark." I smirked.

"Fine..Uno it is.."he sighs and he takes out the card game. 

We play the game and of course I won almost all the rounds. Surprisingly, Mark won a few games. He kept getting mad when I pulled +4s on him..He's so cute when he's mad- ANYWAYS...

Our last game took so long that it was now 1am. We decide to get ready for bed.

Mark gave me one of his hoodies and some shorts that didn't fit him anymore. 

I plop myself onto the guest bedroom bed, and got under the covers. 

"Alright, so...I'll be in my room if you need anything. My parents went out, they'll be back later on today. Goodnight, princess." Mark waves and closes the door quietly. I adjust myself into a comfortable sleeping position and close my eyes. 

*Time Skip*

I woke up after having a nightmare. I check the clock to see that it's 2:45am...Damn-

I get up and go knock on Mark's room door. It took a minute for him to answer the door.

"Y-y/n? What's up?" he asks in a sleepy voice.

"I had a nightmare.." I dragged my sentence off. He pulled me into a hug and took me inside his room. 

We sat on the bed, side by side. 

"What happened in the dream?" he asks.

"Well, in the dream, my family and friends were mad and disappointed in me for some reason. Even you were upset with me, and it made me feel more guilty and hurt. Haechan bashed me verbally and Johnny and Jaehyun were looking at me in disappointment. You told me you wanted to end our friendship and you called me a nobody and said no one loves me. Then Jungwoo oppa said that I-I should've d-died in the car crash instead of-"

Mark quickly hugged me tightly. I cried into his chest. 

"Shh, we would never say bad things about you, and Haechan is too soft to go off on his noona. Plus, I would never break our friendship. It wouldn't be worth it. I love you so much, you know that, right?" Mark makes me face him, and I nodded my head. 

"You know that Jungwoo loves you and he'd never say anything like that. He loves you so much, and he especially loves looking out for his younger sister." Mark assures me.

"You're right. Thank you, Mark." I lay my head on his chest. 

"You're welcome. I'd do anything for you, my beautiful angel, I love you." he whispers and rubs my back. I close my eyes and drift off to dreamland. 

Mark POV:

She fell asleep on me...how cute.. She looks so pretty and peaceful when she's asleep. I carry her to the guest bedroom and lay her down. Before I could leave the bed, she tugged my arm. 

"Stay, please.." she said in a sleepy voice. My heart was beating so fast. Aish, Y/n, look what you've done to my heart.

I lay in bed and cuddle her, her head on my chest and my arms wrapped around her. I close my eyes and soon fell asleep. 

*Time Skip*

I wake up and check the time, to see that it's 9 am. Y/n's still asleep so I quietly get up from bed and wash up. 

After washing up, I hear a notification going off on my phone. I open my phone to see an old friend from Band class in 6th grade, had texted me..
