Before Blackpink's Performance

Jin POV

The boys and I had just come back from our break. I sat down, and I was looking for her. I couldn't find her anywhere; she wasn't at her seat. Maybe she hadn't come back yet? I was sad.

Suddenly, the curtains opened, but the lights switched off, so I couldn't see who was on stage. Then the overhead narrator started speaking. 

"Our next performance is one of the best girl groups in the game. The global girl crushes of the world. The record-breaking. Please welcome BLACKPINK!" The lights turned on revealing the girls in their positions. My breath hitched when I saw her. 

Jisoo. She was dressed in a two-piece red outfit, and she looked badass and cute at the same time. I didn't even pay attention to the performance, even though she sang amazingly. I just stared at her beauty. She had natural beauty and she radiated throughout the performance. I think I saw her member Rose-ssi smirk at me. Did she see me staring at Jisoo?!

I stopped looking at her but I occasionally snuck glances. I think Namjoon noticed because he winked at me when I looked at him. Who cares. I was a playboy years ago, and I've been looking for the one ever since. And deep down in my heart, I knew she was the one. I vowed to be the best person to her and earn her love and trust. 

After their performance was over, they took the mic for a brief bit and introduced themselves. 

"1, 2, 3, Hi, we are Blackpink. I'm Jisoo-" she handed the mic to the rest of her members as they introduced themselves. I looked to my members and I saw the three maknaes staring at Rose, Lisa, and Jennie. I tuned back in to hear what Lisa was saying.

"-we might look sweet on camera, but we aren't gullible. Cross us, and we won't be nice to you. We can be bubbly to our friends, but one grave mistake and you lose that." She said seriously. Rose-ssi snatched the mic from her, "But we want to make friends. We are very nice, I promise."

After that, they left the stage. I thought about how to win Jisoo, especially since first impressions were very important. Jisoo seemed very shy, so I for sure needed the help of one of her members. 

After them, other groups like NCT, Seventeen, and our labelmates G Friend. As it was nearing 11:50, the boys and I ran backstage to get ready for our performance. I didn't want to do Blood, Sweat, and Tears. It talks about a serious topic, but the moves are extremely flirty and playboy-ish. But the maknaes, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook, made a fuss like children, saying they needed to uphold their image. They really wanted to do the crotch grab. 

During our performance, I tried to keep a sincere face and look as anti-playboy as possible. Everyone sang really well and gave a good performance, but the maknaes were literally flirting through their eyes. I, on the other hand, couldn't help but sneak glances again at Jisoo. She looked so gorgeous. She was also staring at me. I hope that was a good thing. I think Lisa-ssi also noticed, and she whispered to Rose-ssi. 

After the performance, we changed quickly and head out to the hall, because we set the stage on fire and idols were coming to congratulate us. I was about to go when I heard the name Blackpink behind a wall. 

I hid behind the wall and looked over the side to see Taehyung, Jungkook, and Jimin. For sure, they would be talking about their next target. 

"So, Blackpink, the hottest girl group, and one we haven't even touched yet," Jungkook said. I was absolutely disgusted by him.

"Should we make a bet on the girls?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes! Whoever's girlfriend says 'I love you' first loses. The prize is-" Jimin smirked.
