(A/N: Y'ALL KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND A GOOD PICTURE OF PEOPLE WEARING ICE SKATES- I literally just ended up using the first one I saw and poorly trying to edit it to make it match their jeans :D)

"U-uh I hate to be rude Sunghoon but, i-is there something on my face?" Jake asked. The older's cheeks were full of noodles, making him look even more adorable. Jake had his chopsticks in one hand, looking shyly up at Sunghoon who didn't seem to look away.

"Oh n-no, I'm sorry" Sunghoon apologized before going to eat. It had been a few minutes since they got their food and Jake seemed to be very hungry. He lied, he said that he wasn't that hungry either. The brown-haired male was gulping down the noodles and other ingredients quickly, his cheeks always bulging a little bit with food.

"Jakey, did you not eat lunch? You seem hungry." Sunghoon said carefully, trying his best to not make Jake choke. The younger felt like if he wasn't careful enough, his words could make Jake choke on the food in his mouth. The older looked up momentarily at him before looking away to swallow what was in his mouth.

"Yeah... I-I'm sorry, I usually don't eat lunch anyways but I guess I didn't eat breakfast today, either" The raven-haired male raised both of his eyebrows before frowning. "You have to eat Jake. Here, here, have more!" Sunghoon was ready to transfer some of what was in his bowl to Jake's when he was immediately stopped. "No!! It's f-fine Hoonie. I'll just eat what I have, you probably didn't eat either" Hoonie, ahhh >~< And with that, Jake went back to putting even more food into his mouth making Sunghoon chuckle. When Jake swallowed whatever he was eating, the younger couldn't help himself. He patted Jake's head again. "You're cute Jakey~"

Sunghoon had no clue how or why but he was weirdly enough, way more confident when he was with Jake. It was such a contrast to how flustered he would be when they FaceTimed but the younger used all of his confidence to his advantage, saying things to the older that he couldn't have said before.

"Stoppp~ You called me cute like five times already! I'm not cute" Jake pouted and placed his cup down nicely. "Have I ever told you a lie Jakey?" Jake looked away before shaking his head. "Well then, I must be telling the truth when I tell you that. Aren't I?" Jake blushed and hid his face with his sleeves.

Sunghoon was glad, it felt a lot more comfortable now that they began to eat. Jake warmed up to him and was speaking a lot more freely. The older was still a little bit shy but he almost speaks just like he does when they FaceTime, confidently and with a bright smile.

Because they didn't have their mask on while they were eating, Sunghoon made sure to use this time to admire his face while he could. He wouldn't get to see the older's face in person for a while so he wanted to cherish it. Wow, Sunghoon, stop being weird. But who could blame him, he looked so cute being all shy and blushing every second.

"You know, I thought I was the confident one! You used to always blush around me b-but I don't know what's gotten into me. I s-swear I'm not usually this flustered all the time" Jake pouted and crossed his arms cutely. They finished eating a few minutes ago but they used some time to digest a little before they got up and went back on their way to the ice rink. It was now only them in the shop with the lady behind the counter not caring about what they were doing, she seemed to be half asleep for all they cared. But their sweet words towards each other filled up the space nicely.

"I think you misunderstand. My vibes must be different from when we talked on FaceTime, huh?" Sunghoon asked with a little shrug, watching Jake play around with the strings on his hoodie. "No, it's not that. But I like this you better. You say your feelings a bit more b-but I think you're a bit too straightforward" Jake admitted. "You keep calling me cute one too many times that's why" He frowned again and put his hands at his hips. Agh, is he trying to act mad? He's too adorable.
