"That was good" Sunghoon stated as he took a sip of water, using his free hand to place his chopsticks into the bowl in front of him. Jake followed and nodded, cleaning his mouth with a napkin. It was a little late and they didn't want to burn the house down, so they made ramen. (Careful, a wild Heeseung might appear O_O)
Jake stood up slowly and grabbed on his bowl before eyeing the younger, quickly grabbing onto his bowl as well. Before he could even act, Jake was washing their utensils while humming softly. The clock on the wall showed that it was already 9 pm, the neighborhood seemed pretty quiet already.
"Thank you~," Sunghoon said whilst standing up to stand behind Jake, giving him a little back hug. "So, what should we do?" Jake asked softly, putting one of the bowls to the side before going to wash the other. The taller looked off to the side to think before making a little noise, holding up an index finger. "You said you'd play the violin for me! How about you show me after you're done?" Sunghoon asked. He took the opportunity to rest his chin on Jake's shoulder, taking in his scent.
"Hm..." The older hummed. There was a slight frown on his face and he bit his bottom lip softly, despite this he still nodded. "Sure, I-I'm probably a bit bad now but I'll try" Jake turned his head slightly to flash Sunghoon a smile.
Although Mrs. Sim had told them his father would be coming home a little later, there was still no sign of him. They were alone in the quiet house and it was amazing. It was so relaxing. Jake finished up by drying off his hands, trying to turn around. The hold around his body didn't ease so he was fidgeting around in Sunghoon's arms, laughing. "Yahh, let go!" Sunghoon also began to laugh, tightening his arms even more.
It went quiet again before Jake pulled one last time, escaping from the hug. They stared and stared... Before breaking out in laughter. "That's pretty mean Hoonie." Jake pouted, walking away from the sink and back towards the stairs. Sunghoon turned off the kitchen and dining room light before running after him. Every once in a while Jake would let out a little sigh as he went into his closet, Sunghoon watching him closely.
"I think... I think it should be in here somewhere" The violin, he's looking for his violin. And sure enough, Jake pulled out a case, opening it to show his violin that hadn't been touched in a while. The younger didn't quite know what he was doing for the first few minutes so he quietly laid on his stomach, reaching Jake's pillow to make himself comfortable. He slowly moved his hands, the violin making various out-of-tune noises and Sunghoon could only tilt his head, watching in confusion. But soon enough, Jake closed his eyes and began to play a tune he'd remember from before. This immediately calmed Sunghoon down, resting his chin in his palms. His eyes glued to Jake as he swayed slowly, lips turning up into a smile. There was nothing he could do but watch in awe.
This went on for a few more minutes, Jake ending with a short and playful bow, giggling softly. Sunghoon was quick to clap, standing up from his place on his bed to show how much he was amazed. "That was good Jakey, very very relaxing" And what he said was true. The tune was so relaxing that he was beginning to get drowsy again regardless of the nap they'd taken before dinner. "Thank you, thank you!" Jake continued to bow, dramatically spreading out his arms. The older giggled again before looking down at the instrument in his hands.
"That felt great. It honestly brought back so many emotions and memories... It felt very nostalgic" Jake admitted. Before Sunghoon knew it the instrument was back in its case and in the closet where Jake last left it. The small male turned on the lamp beside Sunghoon before he jumped into the bed, his body turned towards Sunghoon who's body laid limply on his side.
