It took Sunghoon back slightly at the quick answer. It shocked him that Jake answered backed so quickly. "R-really?" "Y-yeah!" The older's exclaimed and tightened his hold on Sunghoon's hand even more. "W-wait, so you're mine? Jake Sim is mine?" Sunghoon was so red and looked at Jake with such a surprised face. "Y-yes, yes I am" Jake answered shyly, looking up at Sunghoon with a little grin.

Layla began to tug harshly on the black thread holding her close to Jake, barking before continuing to tug even harder. "Woah! Calm down, Layla!" Jake yelled at his dog who was eagerly trying to run after Gaeul who was running after a butterfly. Sunghoon was also busy trying to keep Gaeul close as the small dog ran quickly after the orange butterfly that seemed to provoke them. It seemed the smaller dog was attracted to the fast-moving insect that fluttered around the bright yellow flowers growing from the ground.

Layla gave one more harsh tug, pulling Jake along with her. She pulled so hard that Jake was forced to followed before, his legs moving quickly to keep up with her. "YAH! Layla!" Jake screamed, struggling to keep up with the fast pace. Sunghoon laughed as he could easily tug slightly at Gaeul leash and pick her up since she was a much smaller size and lighter weight than Layla. Gaeul was light enough to pull by the leash when she was misbehaving and pick her up so watching Jake run after Layla made Sunghoon die of laughter.

"If the PE teacher saw how fast you're running he'd definitely recruit you into the track team Jakey!" Sunghoon yelled with a teasing tone, laying on the mat beside him laughing loudly. Jake probably ran back and forth ten times before Layla finally lost interest in the butterfly, running back towards Gaeul at a much slower pace than before. Jake finally decided to just let go of her leash, laying down beside Sunghoon. His chest rose and fell, panting loudly.

"That's the most exercise I've gotten in months. In just 5 minutes I've gotten more physical activity than the past 7 months" Jake stated while resting a hand on his chest, feeling his heartbeat quickly. "That's what I imagine you're doing in my head. Running in my mind all the time, that's why you're in my thought 24/7" Sunghoon said softly, winking at Jake teasingly. The older pouted and shook his head. "Now you're all cheesy~" The older whined, sitting up.

"Do you have water that I can drink?" Jake asked with a little sharp intake of breath. "Hmm, yeah here" Sunghoon handed Jake a bottle of water. He had a very bright look on his face as he watched the older hydrate himself. He never imaged that his first few moments with Jake as a couple would be Jake running after his dog.

"That was an interesting beginning of a relationship" Sunghoon stated and he earned a very infectious giggle from Jake, making himself laugh. "I'm sorry, I didn't know she would just pull me like that" The older gushed and closed the top of the water bottle with the small-cap in his hand. "B-but, w-we're dating?" Jake asked before placing down the object in his hands.

If you were to ask the two of them if they experienced a relationship before you would get the same answer from both of them, no. They lived 18 years of their life without having a relationship of some sort. Jake was busy studying all the time and Sunghoon was busy with figure skating so they didn't have the time to date, anyone. But in all, they expected everything to be new and exciting as they got to experience a lot of firsts with each other.

Sunghoon only nodded before he continued. "I get to experience so much with you Jake" Sunghoon pulled down his mask to eat a cookie. The many snacks in front of them give them an excuse to seeing each other's faces. Jake's heart quickened when he saw the younger's face at the full view in person. They'd see each other on FaceTime and sometimes in person but this was different, he was able to examine all of the small details on Sunghoon's face. He was able to examine Sunghoon's handsome face up close.

"Heyyy you're staring~" Sunghoon teased while going to tickle Jake. The older immediately laid back on the blanket, laughing loudly. "Stop!" The younger laughed and backed away slowly, giving Jake a little pat on the head before returning to his initial spot. "H-how'd you know I was ticklish?!" Jake was out of breath again as he recovered from the sudden tickle fight. "I didn't, I just wanted to see if you were"

The older just rolled his eyes and pulled Sunghoon back down to lay beside him. By this time, Layla and Gaeul were both tired out. They laid at the lower side of the blanket, staring off into the distance. Jake could get used to this, silence while enjoying the company that Sunghoon offered. And to Sunghoon, he enjoyed just as equally. The older gave off a warm and bright vibe that always rubbed off on him. It always made him feel like Jake brought out a better attitude in him.

"I can't believe your my boyfriend" Sunghoon suddenly stated. While staring up at the sky, they examined all of the passing clouds. They looked so fluffy and created images that only they can picture what it looked like. "I can't believe it either," Jake said quietly. It felt so empty in the park this early morning, it felt so empty with just the two of them. But they couldn't ask for more. They didn't need to worry about others seeing their precious moments as a newly formed couple.

"So is it alright if I call you baby?" Sunghoon asked, turning on his side to look at Jake. Jake also decided to face the younger. "B-baby?" Jake confirmed with a little confused tone, staring deeply into Sunghoon's eyes. "Yeah, because you're now my baby~" This whole new side of Sunghoon wasn't unknown but it was all new. Having the person you crush on gush and be all cheesy with you, who wouldn't be all flustered.

"I—J-Just called me wh-whatever I g-guess" Jake was blushing so he brought his hand up to his face and used his mask to cover his cheeks. "Don't be shy Jakey. I won't call you anything besides your name if you don't want me to" Sunghoon's voice changed to a much more soothing voice, using his right hand to bring Jake's mask back down to his chin. "N-no! I'm just not used to it" Jake was quick to justify himself, waving his hands panicked at the younger. "Okay then!... Baby~"

"You didn't need to walk me to my house" Jake whined while looking up at the younger. They stood in front of Jake's house, dreading such a moment where they finally had to be apart again. "It's no worries, plus I want to make sure you arrive safely" Sunghoon said and bent down to pick Gaeul up, who was scratching at his legs. "I don't want you to go though~" The older whined while grabbing onto Sunghoon's sleeve, tugging at it softly. He had a slight pout on his lips as he continued to move his attention to Layla who sat at his feet.

"We'll meet again next time baby, I promise" Sunghoon reassure after placing Gaeul on the ground, ruffling the older's hair like he always did. Jake loved when he did that, it made him feel a sort of joy that he only felt with Sunghoon. "Okay..." He looked so dejected as he slowly made his way up the concrete and onto the wooden porch. The sadness in his eyes could be seen from afar. "Wait, didn't I make another promise with you?" Sunghoon asked.

Jake turned on his heels and tilted his head. "What promise?" The older asked, playing with the black leash in his left hand. "Your hug!" Sunghoon exclaimed, opening his arms widely. Jake's expression brightened again as he placed Layla's leash down and ran into the younger's arms, locking his arms tightly around Sunghoon's neck. It felt so warm and safe in Sunghoon's embrace. Sunghoon chuckle as he placed a hand at the back of Jake's head, running his hand through the older's hair. The smaller male had his head buried in Sunghoon's chest, enjoying as much of the younger's warmth as he could.
