I was quietly humming to the song that was blasting throughout Forever 21 and folding clothes. The story was practicly empty because it was a Sunday in the middle of March. It was looked like it was raining outside...again. Typical London. I sighed and walked over to my friend Abby who was working the cash register. Abby had long light brown hair and big brown eyes. She was really skinny. Not like deathly skinny though.
Abby was probably my opposite. Her parents don't care what she does. She grew up in a public school. She is worried about college and her grades. While me...Well I'm just...there. Grades are probably the last thing on my mind.
"Hey. I'm ganna go get some extra boxes from the back...Watch the register for me?" Abby said.
"Yeah but its ganna cost ya extra." I said walking around the counter. She rolled her eyes at me and laughed.
"You are the laziest person I know Tori." Abby said while walking to the back. I laughed and hopped up on the counter and pulled out my phone. I heard some one cough from behind me. I groaned and turned around.
"Do you have these in a different color?" A boy with brown hair and blue eyes who looked no older then me said. He was said it kind of snappy too. I hopped off the counter and walked around the counter. He was holding a pair of pink floral high heel pumps. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"What a man can't get a pair of high heel shoes?" He said smiling down at me. I rolled my eyes.
"I would barley call you a man." I said to him while snatching the pumps. I examined them for a few seconds and then shoved them into his chest.
"Nope." I said simply and I walked away to fold some more clothes.
"You didn't even check to see if there WAS and extra color." He said as he followed me through out the store. I stopped in my tracks and turned around.
"Look..." I said then stopped.
"Louis" He said to me as I continued.
"Look Louis, I know for a fact that we don't have a another pair of pumps like that in any other color so your just going to have to tell your...your" I stopped again.
"Girlfriend...her names Eleanor" He said simply.
"Your just going have to tell 'Eleanor' that you can't get them in a different color" I said to him.
"Who would you put quotes around Eleanor...For Christ sakes are you a Larry Shipper?" He whispered loudly in my face. I pushed him back so he wasn't so close to me.
"What the hell is a shipper." I asked him. He looked at me with wide eyes.
"Here, tell you this. You tell me when the other color of the shoes come in and I'll have to come back and get them." Louis said to me smirking.
"Is that just an excuse to see me again" I said smirking right back at him. He smiled at me and shoved his hands in his pockets.
"Maybe." He said.
"Wow. Your buying a present for your girlfriend and then end up flirting with another girl...now that's classy." I said smiling as I walked past him and up to the register. He followed me.
"She's not really my girlfriend. If you give me your number then I can explain." He said pulling out his phone. I looked at him. I pushed his phone back.
"No I don't think so." I said smiling a bit.
"Look..." He said searching for my name.
"Victoria...but call me Tori." I said.
"Look Victoria-" He said.
"Don't call me that I said call me Tori" I said putting my hands up for emphasis.
"Why. Victoria is such a beautiful name though" Louis said smirking at me.
"Shoo. I am supposed to be working and your distracting me." I said as he looked at me smiling.
"I didn't know I was that attractive." He said leaning in to me.
"Didn't know I was that attractive." I said mocking him and stepping back. Abby saved the day because she walked up carrying tons of gift wrapping boxes.
"Jesus Abby!" I said as I went to help her. I was putting the boxes away when Abby walked up to Louis.
"Do you need any thing sir...woah..wait!" Abby said backing away from Louis. He told her to Shh. I raised and eyebrow. Abby smacked me In the shoulder.
"Ow what the hell?" I said. She grinned like a mad man and started slapping me excitedly. She was starting to get a bit jumpy too. Louis smiled at her.
"That's Louis Tomlinson" She whispered to me while she looked at Louis. He looked right back us.
"Okay..." I said as I turned around to get my stuff, my shift was ending soon.
"Victoria! This is Louis Tomlinson from One Direction!" She said. I laughed.
"That boy band? Yeah like that's ganna make me want to get in your pants." I said to Louis as I snickered at him. He snickering right back.
"Tori stop it! He will ruin you!" Abby said to me. Louis nodded in agreement.
"Yeah Victoria I will ruin you." He said emphasising the word ruin. I rolled my eyes.
"Well my shift is ending. And I would much rather be somewhere else." I said I turned around to walk to the break room. I turned my head around to see Abby was talking like a mad man to Louis who was staring me down from behind and was nodding he head with a smirk on his face. I laughed and flipped my hair over my shoulder.
Good Luck Louis Tomlinson. Good Luck.
