Chapter 25~

"Ah look who's home" my dad says as I stare at the male on the couch

"Y/n" The male says with a soft smile

"... Katsuo" I reply with a dry, intimidating look on my face

"Don't be rude now Y/n, come sit and catch up" my dad says in which I clench my jaw and drag myself to the couch

I sit down on the separate couch and curl up into a ball in the corner

"Uhm well, look at the time! I should head to bed" my dad says before zooming off to his room

"DAD" I yell as I watch him run away

I quickly look back to Katsuo with a scowl on my face

"Ok before you get ready to hate crime me-" he starts before I give him an annoyed look

"Hate crime? Funny cuz last time I remember you were the one who dumped me then left to a whole different state for music. MUSIC" I say angrily

"Y/n-"

"Not even ONE text from you either, pathetic" I say while crossing my arms

"Not one text?- I texted you every single day after I left- I sent millions of texts telling you how dumb I was, how I couldn't regret something more, how I wish I had been there with you not without... I sent you so many texts saying how I was dumb to dump you just cuz I didn't want you to deal with all the hate that would follow me in my career, cuz someone as amazing as you deserves the world and nothing less...." Katsuo says

"What...? You texted me everyday...? I didn't receive one of those texts and so I believed that I really didn't mean anything to you" I say while looking down at the floor

The boy stands up and sits next to me

"That's why things never got fixed between us... cuz it was two different ways, I was trying to let you know how I actually felt and you were trying to forget me" he says

"I don't know why the texts never went through though... I never even thought about blocking you let alone actually blocking you" I say confused

"I don't know what happened but I'm here now and I really wanna catch up on things we've done. I wanna know everything that you've accomplished, new friends you've made, interviews that you've done, every and anything you can tell me" Katsuo says with a soft welcoming smile

"Katsuo... I missed you more than you'd ever know" I say with teary eyes and a soft smile

The boy pulls me into a tight hug, softly running his thin fingers down my spine 

"Hopefully you still like this" he says

"Mhm, I do" I say with a soft chuckle

He pulls away and smiles at me

"Your new house is pretty nice" he says in which I nod

"That was my first thought when I moved in" I say

"I'm surprised your dad even remembered me since I haven't seen him since we were like 10" he says with a chuckle

I giggle and shrug

"I'm just as surprised" I say

"You wanna go to your room while we catch up?" He asks in which I nod

"Not for a while" I say with a shrug
