"N/n!" Akiko yells out as she sets from back court
I jump, spiking the ball down with all my might, almost hitting a girl in the face
I hear everyone begin to cheer once again
"Nice kill Y/n! Nice kill nice kill Y/n!" The girls from my school chanted (the band, cheerleaders, the crowd)
I high five Akiko
"Second sets cutting short!" Zoe yells as she looks at the scoreboard
"(Y/n school) and (other team) are coming to a close tie for this set!" The first announcer says
Suddenly the other team calls a timeout
"Alright, you ladies are doing great but I think y/n and Akiko are gonna have to shorten the amounts of back row sets" the coach says
"Yea, they're starting to get used to it and are actually receiving some of Y/n's spikes" Zoe says with a frown
I tsk in annoyance before the timeout ends
We get back onto the court
"If Y/n and Akiko can manage a back set they might be able to take the last point" the second announcer says
The other team serves first
The girl aiming has been trying to break down Akiko so once again she aims at her
"Y/N" Akiko yells out to me as she receives the ball for me to set
'It's too long' I think to myself while running for it
"Y/n!" Zoe calls for the ball
Suddenly all the girls come running in for a synchronized attack
'I'm not gonna make it- No! You can do it y/n! Just a little further..' I think to myself before jumping and turning to set it
It reaches Zoe and she spikes it down
I fall, back first into a table causing me to groan loudly and tears to emerge from my eyes
"Y/N!" Akiko and Zoe yell after the ref counted the point as in
The two run to me along with my team and coach
"Y/n! You're gonna be ok" My coach reassures while gripping onto my hand
I begin to sob as I lay with my back arched on a table
"We gotta get her up" one of the emergency stand off people says while pulling out a stretcher
"I can't move" I say between sobs while covering my face with one of my hands
Two more physicians come, helping the other two
"Y/N" I hear a voice yell, followed by a stampede of people
I see my family and friends trying to come through only to be stopped by the refs and my team
"Please wait till we get her up" a physician says
Two of the physicians begin to lift me
I let out a blood curdling cry which was followed by a loud pop
"Y/N!" Atsumu yells while trying to push through
Osamu grabs him, pulling him back
I grab onto Akikos hand tightly as they place me on the stretcher
"We're gonna have to take her to the hospital" the one holding the end of the stretcher says
"It's gonna be ok. I'm here ok" Akiko says, tears brimming in her eyes
