Chapter 10

I am by my lockers collecting the rest of my books when Mike comes up to me.
"Hey Kels"

"Hey Mike", he sighed.

"Do you know anything about girls?", he leaned against the lockers and turned his head to face me.

"I'm not sure, maybe you should ask a girl this question"

"Kels, I'm serious"

"What do you want Mike?", he sighed.

"See there's this girl and I really want to ask her to prom but I don't know how"

"And why did you come to me about this, why not Blake?"

"Because you're a girl and you are my friend.....u are a girl right?", I rolled my eyes.
"And I figured a girl would know more about a girl than I guy would"

"Mhm, I suppose your right", I said thinking.
"So tell me about this girl", panic flicked across his eyes.

"What?"

"I'm just.....not quite ready for you guys to know who she is yet"

"Your not telling me who she is, your telling me about her"

"Right....Uhh, she's pretty, smart, pregnant", he whispered the last part to himself so I couldn't make out what he said.

"That's all your giving me?"

"Yea"

"What does she like"

"I don't know Kelsie", he drawled frustrated.
"Just tell me what you like"

"Why don't you just ask her what she likes"

"Because it's weird", I rolled my eyes.

"Fine"
"Ask her at a special place at the right time, where everybody is watching, and make her feel special too, maybe get her flowers, uhh...and when your doing it get down on one knee to make it look dramatic"
"Do you really like this girl?"

"Yes, I'm in love with her"

"Okay, then when your done asking her, depending on her answer....kiss her"

"Whoa, that was a lot to take in, but thanks", he turned to walk away.

"Wait", he turned around.

"Do you mind telling me what's the right way to ask a boy?"

"Maybe later", I sighed.

"And then she was like Damien is hot but like so is Stefan"

"Mmmm", he hummed.

"Babe are you even listening?"

"Yes kels, I'm listening"

"Then what did I say?", I crossed my arms.

"That....you can't wait till Christmas"

"Blake", he was doing something on his phone leaning against the kitchen counter while I sat on one of the stools.

I sighed and headed upstairs, I showered and headed for bed.

I really wish I could know who was the girl Mike likes, he acts like the type that would ask a rando to prom, so for him to like a girl this much is kinda cute.

"Babe?", Blake peeped at the door.

I looked over at him, he started walking towards the bed.

"Sorry", he whispered as he lay down.

"For what, it's clear you have more important things to do"

"Nothing is more important than you", I looked at him but didn't speak.

He stretched out his arm to me and I tried so hard not to but I gave in.

"Babe, c'mon you know you can't resist me", I playfully shoved his shoulder.

I looked up at him and he kissed me.

"No, no kisses for you", I covered my lips.

"Aww why", he whined.

"You have to earn them"

"And what do I have to do to earn them?"

"Bake me a pie"

"You know don't know how to do that, I got out of the bed.

"Well then, you better get learning", I blew a kiss to him and walked out.

School was over and Blake, Mike and I are in a frozen yogurt shop.

"Okay, tell me one thing does she go our school?"

"Who?", Mike asks

"The girl"

"Oh...uh", he looked at Blake.
"Yea, she does", Blake was too busy eating his frozen yogurt to realise.

"Is she in this room?"

"That's two things"

"Oh c'mon, please", he sighed.

"Fine....maybe", I raised my eyebrows.

I looked around and realised that we were the only ones from our school here.

Could he be talking about....me.
