Chapter 13

I spent the night at Blake's house but he had to go to school, so I came home, got ready for the day and begun my classes in the living room.

Minutes later the door opened,
"Hey hun"

"Dad?", I went over to him and hugged him.
"Hey, where were you?"

"I just had to get away"

"Without saying goodbye?"

"I'm here now and I'm not leaving", he kissed my forehead.

"Okay"

My dad helped me with most of my assignments and he made dinner, he says it's his way of making it up to me.

"Hey kel", my mom said as she walked through the door.

She stopped as she saw my dad,
"Hey Eleanor", she just stormed off upstairs.

He was about to go get her but I stopped him, " I'll go talk to her and I'll tell you when it's safe for you to go up, okay?"

"Got it", I nodded and went upstairs.

Times when my mom and dad used to argue, my mom had a tendency of throwing things.

"Hey mommy", she just stared me.

I went and sat on the bed next to her.

"Why is he here?", she asked.

"Because he's my dad"

"He didn't know that when he left without saying bye did he", I sighed.

"I know he's made mistakes but I can feel that he's changed"

"You can feel it?"

"Yea sorta, I feel a refreshed aura coming off of him"

"Really", my mom chuckled.

"Look, I know you're mad at him but can you talk east talk to him...for me"

"Fine"

"Yay", I hugged her.

"Uh...where were you last night?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well...ms innocent, I went to check up on you before I went to work but you weren't there"

"Uhh..yea, I stayed at over Blake's"

"Mhm"

"I can explain, he moving away and we got into a fight so I went over to make it up to him"

"When is he leaving?"

"Wednesday"

"Oh, I'm sorry"

"Its fine, anyways I'm gonna go downstairs and wait for you guys while dad comes up okay"

"Mhm"

"Mom"

"I'll talk to him kels"

"Love you"

"You too"

I went back downstairs to see my dad watching football, "you can go now"

"Really, thanks kiddo"

"No problem", he jogged up the stairs seeming overly excited to talk to my mom.

I went downstairs and sat in the living room waiting for them so that we can have dinner as a family again.

Blake's P.O.V

I went to the football field for practice, and also to tell Mike the news.

"Hey man, I found this amazing coffee place, and their looking for waiters", Mike came rushing over to me.
