LOVE AT LAST (Back To Reality)

Chapter 14

Today is the day we say bye bye to Blake. I really wish that he didn't have to leave but, it's his life to do whatever he wants.

I am getting ready to meet Blake and others at the airport. Mike and Blake left early in the morning so they could get ready as well.

"Mom I'm ready!", I said as I went downstairs.

"Ok, just a sec!", I sighed.

Just to be clear school closed yesterday, and so prom is next month and so is graduation.

It sucks that Blake has to miss it all, but obviously I'm not going to prom because without Blake there is no point in going.

"Honey"

"Yea", my mom hugged me.
"C'mon let's go"

My dad drove us to the airport and there we saw Mike, Blake and his parents.

I walked over to them with tears already in my eyes.

"Flight 137 to Canada, will be taking off in 15 minutes", the speaker said.

"Its time for us to go hun", Blake's mom said.

Blake nodded, "I'm gonna miss you man", Mike said as he hugged Blake.

"I'm gonna miss you too"

"Your like a brother to me and so, thanks for being the best brother ever"

"Thank you, for just being my brother, for being there for me since we were 10, just know that we will be bro's for life, got it"

"Yea", Mike started to tear up as he gave Blake another hug.

Then Blake turned to me.

I ran into his arms and I started to cry, "I love you so much"

"I love you too", we pulled apart.

"I want you to have this", I handed him one of my favourite scrunchies.

He chuckled, "Thanks", he placed it in the side pocket of his suitcase.

"Promise me, that no matter what you'll still be happy even if I'm gone"
I didn't answer, "promise me kels"

"I promise", he smiled.
"And you promise me that you'll never forget about me", I whispered loud enough for him to hear.

"How could I ever forget about someone who made me the happiest man alive, someone who never gets tired of me, someone who loves me unconditionally, and someone who will on my mind for as long as I live", I burst in tears.
"Hey, this isn't goodbye, you know that, right", he wiped them away.

"See ya later?", I said.

"See ya later kels", he kissed lips and rested his forehead on mine for awhile.

Then he stopped down and said, "See ya later baby Kels", then he kissed my stomach and I smiled.

We said goodbye to his parents. Everyone stayed and watched as they left.

Mike wrapped his arms around my shoulder and I put mine around his torso.

"Just because he's gone doesn't mean I'm leaving too", I looked up at him.
"Just saying, I am his friend but I'm yours too, so don't be surprised if I show up at your house eating all your food", I laughed.

"Thanks", I hugged him tighter.

"Uh...can I catch a ride with you guys?", he asked my parents.

"Sure where you to?", my Dad answered.

"Your house", my dad narrowed his eyes.
"Sir", my dad chuckled.

"Get in"
