The sunlight beamed straight into my eyes, I groaned, a pounding headache taking over me. Turning over in my bed, I noticed somebody laying next to me, but my vision was too blurry to see who it was. They noticed me moving and wrapped two arms around my torso.

"Good morning" They spoke into my chest, I immediately recognized the voice.

"Jennie?" Memories of last night slowly came back, and I sighed. Why did I always have to react like that. I was using Jennie and I knew it.

"You're hungover aren't you?" She noticed my hand on my head.

"Yeah, aren't you?" I asked, wondering how she was in such good condition. Compared to me at least.

"I didn't drink as much as you did, I was only really drunk because i'm a lightweight" She laughed, ruffling my hair.

"Right, forgot." I groaned even louder, the pain only getting worse.

"I'll get you an Adderall." Jennie got up to search for my medication while I laid in bed, practically lifeless. My phone buzzed, and I reluctantly picked it up, worried it could be something important. It was an Instagram message from someone I didn't know. I clicked the notification curiously, checking the profile. "KTH._95" was apparently Taehyung. I smiled at the cute pictures of him and his dog, as well as the selfies of him at the park or museum with his friends. Swiping back to the chat, I read his text.

KTH._95: Where'd you disappear last night? I was waiting for you :(

I felt myself grin, he was waiting for me?

Jeon.Jungkook: Hey Tae, something came up. My bad.

Jennie sat back on the bed, holding a cup of water and a pill. Startled, I quickly lowered my phone. She noticed my nervous state and eyed me suspiciously.

"Who were you texting?" She asked, handing me the cup.

"A friend from my team, Taehyung." I took the medicine and gulped down the water.

"Why were you smiling like that?" Jennie looked unconvinced, still believing I was texting a girl. I scoffed, if only she knew.

"He said something funny Jen." I tried to reassure her, hating this guilt that was creeping up on me. I needed to put an end to this. But how? My phone rang, diffusing the tension between Jennie and I. Picking up, I saw it was my sister.

"Hey Somi" I greeted a little to excitedly , missing my little sister. We talk every once in a while, just not as much as we used to.

"Hey Kook, how are you?" she answered with the same energy.

"I'm great, busy with school, how've you been?"

"Good. Anyways I called to ask if you could pick me up?"

"Where do you need to go?" I asked, scratching the back of my head.

"The dinner with our parents? I thought dad called you." She laughed, assuming i'd forgotten as always.

"Oh that.." I sighed, why did important plans always slip my mind. We discussed the details and what time, Jennie taking the phone from me to gossip with Somi while I got ready.

I quickly dressed up, putting on a casual suit and fixing up my hair. After bidding Jennie goodbye, I headed to my car. The hangover was thankfully fading thanks to the adderall. Feeling better and much more refreshed, I turned on the radio and drove to Somi's apartment with a small smile on my face. I was excited to see my family again, it's been a while since we all gathered together like this. Reaching a red light, I picked up my phone and noticed a notification from an hour ago.
