It's been a few days since I was released from prison. Thankfully i've managed to meet everyone and reunite with my friends, as well as sign the paperwork to go back to my university. I was extremely happy, everything in my life was going great...all except for one.
It didn't matter though, Id get over it eventually.Looking down at the boy who was now softly snoring against my chest, I placed a soft kiss to his forehead and moved the hair away from his face gently. Ever since I was released, Taehyung was latched onto me like a koala, but I wasn't complaining.
Trying not to wake him up, I slowly moved to try and grab the remote from the coffee table in front of me. He shifted in my arms and groaned as I turned off the television which was way too bright for me to fall asleep.
"Oh I woke you up, i'm so sorry." I whispered, stroking his hair and letting my body fall back limp on his pink couch which I've grown to love. He yawned, shifting closer to me.
"It's okay." His voice was tired as he rested his chin on my chest and looked up at me with sleep filled eyes. "I'm freezing."
"I'll get you some socks." I smiled before getting off the couch, I knew my way around his apartment so it wouldn't be a problem.
"I-It's okay I can.." He sat up slowly, fighting the drowsiness in his body.
"Don't worry baby, i'll be right back." A smile was plastered on my face as I looked through his drawers, the thought about falling asleep with Taehyung every night making me flustered. Finally finding the sock drawer, I picked out some fuzzy socks and quickly headed back to the living room.
Taehyung lit up as I entered the small and cosy room. "Thank you so much, Kook." He tried to grab the socks but I kneeled down on the floor, flipping the blanket off his feet and sliding one of the socks on. "It's okay I can put it on." He offered hurriedly.
"Shh, just let me do nice things for you." I rolled my eyes, earning a small giggle from Taehyung. Once the socks were on, I slid back onto the couch, enjoying how we had to squeeze together due to the minimal space.
"Taehyung, are you still not comfortable around me?" I asked, a small frown on my face as I rested my chin on the top of his head.
"Of course I am. I'm just a little tense because you were just released from jail for beating up my brother for me. I don't want to bother you.." He spoke quietly into my chest and I sighed.
"Don't you worry your pretty little head about that, okay?" I cupped his face and brought our lips together, something we couldn't get enough of. He nodded as I pulled away.
"Why were you awake when you were getting the remote anyway?" He changed the subject.
"I was just thinking."
"About?" If there's anything I knew about Taehyung, it was the fact that he was persistent and that I wouldn't get away with this.
"My mom." I admitted, feeling the weight lifting off my heart as I finally said it out loud. Taehyung lifted himself up so he was facing me directly and nodded for me to continue. He knew what this was about, but he wanted me to let it all out. "I just don't understand why she hasn't tried to contact me yet. I was in jail for two months for gods sake."
"She hasn't even called you?" Taehyung asked, cupping my face and stroking it gently with his thumb.
"No, maybe I shouldn't have said anything. We have a new family member coming along and.. I just ruined everything between us." I leaned into his touch, finding it comforting.
