PLAY ON- Taekook

I parked my car in the middle of the grassy field, we didn't know where else to go and there was a nice empty meadow nearby. Taehyung didn't even wait for me to turn the engine off before running out and sitting on the grass. I could hear him talk about the pretty flowers from ten feet away. Smiling, I grabbed the bag of snacks we bought on our way, joining him on the the grass.

I plopped down next to him, Taehyung smiled and took a bag of chips from me.

"Feeling better?" I asked, grabbing a handful of my barbecue flavored chips.

"Mhm." Taehyung hummed, now gazing up at the stars. "All thanks to you." He laid down on the grass, placing one of his arms behind his head for support. I followed suit, laying next to him and sighing in satisfaction. Taehyung looked at me, smiling for a moment before turning back to look at the night sky. I took a deep breath, should I make a move? I already tried to kiss him back at his apartment, which was completely an impulse decision.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like I didn't want to kiss him. It's just that I would have never done it so soon. Taehyung sighed

"What's up?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow and watching him intently.

"I just don't understand what we-" Taehyung paused for a moment, something caught his attention and he suddenly stood up, halfway through his sentence. He was chasing something, but I had no idea what. The boy came back, hands cupping eachother and he gently sat back on the floor next to me.

"What were you chasing?" I asked, curious of what was in his hand.

"Look, it's a blue butterfly." He lifted one of his hands up slightly, allowing me to look inside.

"You've never seen a blue butterfly before?" I chuckled, gazing at him as he admired the insect in his hands.

"It's not that." He giggled, crossing his legs before continuing "My mom always used to tell me blue butterflies are good luck!" Taehyung smiled, this time releasing the butterfly and watching it fly away. "And there's one more thing." He perked up, forgetting one point.

"Mhm?" I hummed, waiting for him to continue.

"If you find a blue butterfly with someone, that means they'll be good luck in your life." He looked into my eyes, a genuine smile spread on his face. His cheeks were rosy and the moon lit up his features, his eyes glittering as he looked into mine. I didn't even try to hide the fact that I was staring anymore. He looked pretty. Dangerously pretty. We continued to stare at each other for a bit,  shamelessly studying one another's faces.

"Is there something on my face?" I spoke up sarcastically, rubbing a hand over my face and messing with Taehyung. His eyes widened as he looked away, cheeks turning red as the embarrassment washed over him.

"There's nothing there Jungkook" he murmured, stifling a giggle. I laughed, laying back down and pulling him down with me. My arm wrapped around Taehyung's shoulder as he laid by my side, the two of us looking up at the stars once more. Taehyung relaxed his head on my chest, looking to the side to get a clear view of me. I lowered my gaze, making eye contact with him. I could tell he wasn't expecting me to notice, as he quickly turned away and got shy.

Feeling bold today, I placed a hand on his chin, gently bringing his head back up to look at me. Taehyung held his breath, watching as I leaned in closer and closer. I could tell he was hesitant and I breathed out a quick "fuck it" before quickly closing the gap between us, connecting our lips. It was just a quick peck, but enough to set my heart on fire. I pulled away slowly, my hand still cupping Taehyung's cheek.

I barely had a second to think before Taehyung pushed himself onto me once more, the two of us slowly sitting back up without breaking the kiss. He wrapped his arms around my neck as I pulled him in closer by his waist, deepening the kiss. Taehyung's hand moved down to my chest, at this rate my tongue was begging for entrance. I melted into the kiss, mind hazy and thoughts occupied by the way Taehyung's soft lips felt on mine. Deciding to give me what I want (or rather deciding to give in and get what he wanted) he granted me entrance as I kissed him roughly without warning. I felt him gasp lightly, pulling softly at my hair.

I gently bit his lower lip before pulling away, the two of us breathing heavily. He looked at me, speechless for a while. I had clearly caught him by surprise, but I loved the way he got shy, lowering his head to avoid my gaze. Taehyung finally looked me in the eye, blush still evident on his cheeks "I thought you'd never have the balls to actually do it."

"Always underestimating me, Kim Taehyung."
chuckling quietly, I regained my composure.

About an hour later, Taehyung and I were still at the field. We found an adorable baby deer as well, Taehyung immediately taking the chance to make friends with it and surprisingly succeeding. Much to my reluctance, I decided it was about time to leave. We had school tomorrow after all, and I wanted him to rest well to recover.

"Come on, let's get you home. It's getting late." I smiled, searching for my keys. Taehyung nodded, giving the deer one last stroke on the head before picking up his phone and following me to the car.

We drove in comfortable silence, listening to some music as we made our way back to his place. Taehyung getting excited whenever a Taylor Swift song would play. He would yell all the lyrics to every song. Completely out of tune if I must say so myself, catching the attention of cars driving past us. But a small grin made its way onto my face as I watched him get emotional over 'You belong with me'. In about ten minutes, we made it back to his apartment.

"We're here" I cleared my throat, Taehyung only now realizing we'd arrived.

"That was quick." He laughed, picking up his stuff before stopping to look at me. Something was on his mind. I waited patiently, lowering the volume of the music.

He sighed "You haven't told anyone about me being a stripper right?" Taehyung fiddled with his fingers nervously.

"Of course not." I chuckled before turning to face him once more "Well..just Jaehyun and Jackson. You've seen them at the club, i'm sorry about that-" I scratched the back of my head, apologizing.

"It's fine." Taehyung cut me off. "I saw that coming, you guys go everywhere together." He smiled

"I'm sorry you were worried because of me, I didn't intend to make your work life any harder on you." I sighed, knowing I would be scared if I were in his position.

"No. I wasn't." He leaned back in his seat. I perked my head up, surprised. Taehyung looked at me "I trust you. Plus, stripping is extremely fun, I love my job. The reputation around it is what sucks." I didn't say anything, I just watched as he picked up his jacket.

"Bye Jungkook." He said softly, smiling before stepping out of the car. I waited until he was inside before I drove off, thoughts of today never leaving my mind. A stupid smile stayed on my face for the rest of the car ride. My road rage was considerably better tonight. I managed to ignore a guy almost crashing into me as he drove 20 miles above the speed limit. Which would be nearly impossible on any other day, I would have broken his nose by now.

Parking my car in front of campus to save time, I made my way inside and up to the dorms. Jaehyun answered the door, letting me inside where Jackson was playing video games in the living room.

"What's up with the face?" Jackson asked, looking up from the television.

"What face?" I asked, plopping down on the couch.

"You're smiling....more than usual." Jaehyun sat down next to me, trying to study my facial expression.

"I'm just in a good mood" I got up to change into my pijamas, heading to my room and leaving my friends on the sofa. Taking off my clothes, I sat down on the bed, my body falling back as I quietly laughed. I kissed Taehyung. I kissed Kim Taehyung. My hand ran through my hair as I laid there for a few more minutes.

Why was I acting like a fifth grader who's crush accidentally brushed their hand against theirs? Deciding to snap out of it, I walked back outside to the living room, where the three of us chatted and watched Television for the rest of the night.
