"I'm gonna beat their asses."
Jisung reached out, grabbing Minho's arm when he tried to walk away. "Minho," he said just loud enough for Minho to hear. "But-" "Please..." His breathing was quickening, the older taking notice as Jisung wrapped his arms back around himself. Minho sighed, taking a deep breath to rid himself of his anger. "Okay, let's go."
The two ignored the slight snickers and whispers as they left the building. Minho led them to an empty area a little ways away from everyone else. "Alright, you're okay now. Take a couple of deep breaths for me, hm?" Minho said, placing his hands on Jisung's shoulders. "Birthday candles, remember?" Jisung smiled a small smile, eyes focusing on Minho's.
Taking three deep breaths, Jisung started to calm down. He slowly unwrapped his arms from himself. "Do you want a hug? Or not right now," The ravenette asked, taking his hands off of Jisung's shoulders. "Yeah, that'd be nice," Jisung replied, feeling Minho wrap his arms around him. The two stayed like that for a couple minutes while Jisung finished calming down.
Once Jisung was calmed down, the two started walking home. "You gonna be okay?" Minho asked worriedly. Jisung nodded, frowning a bit when Minho asked, "Do you know why they were looking at you like that? Do you know them?" Thinking back to their faces, Jisung realized he didn't know any of them.
"I don't know why, I don't even know any of them..." Minho hummed, turning and walking backwards. "That's strange," he said, the pair falling silent for the rest of the walk home."Hey honey, how was your day at school? Anything interesting happen?" Mrs. Han asked when Jisung got home. The boy put down his backpack, going to the kitchen where his mom's voice came from. "Actually, yes! Something exciting did happen!"
After Jisung finished explaining the events of the day, leaving out the group of boys, him and his mom did a happy dance together. "This is so exciting! You have to let me pick your outfit! No offense, but you aren't the best dressed," Mrs. Han said, the two chuckling quietly. "Thanks, mom... For being so supportive of everything I do," Jisung said. His words were filled with emotion, his mom smiling softly at him.
"Of course! You're my son, and I love you." Jisung smiled, nodding and hugging his mom. "I love you too." The two heard the front door open and close, indicating that Mr. Han was home. "Hello, lovely family! I am home!" he called from the entryway. Jisung smiled at his mom, pulling away from the hug to go tell his dad the good news.
"This is cause for a celebration!" Mr. Han yelled. Mrs. Han nodded from where she stood in the living room watching them. "Of course, Jisungie's favorite!" Jisung smiled, his heart filled with joy. And for the rest of the night, he forgot about all things bad.
