Hannah had returned from New York a day earlier than Jesse was expecting. She had showered as soon as she got home. She wasn't one to stick around in the clothes she travelled in. She had her hair up in a clip while she paced around in her robe and slippers. She just wanted to be with Jesse right now. She rubbed her face trying to remember when he said he'd be done with filming.

"Why can't you remember?!" She yelled at herself hitting a flat hand against the window sill.

Just as she said that, she heard the front door open and close. Hannah hurried out of the bedroom to the living room. She smiled when she saw Jesse taking off his coat.

"Hi, how was filming?" She walked over and kissed his cheek. He wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Good, thanks. I thought you were coming home tomorrow? Or did I get my days mixed up and forgot to come pick you up?" He kissed her forehead.

"You didn't forget. I was supposed to come home tomorrow," Hannah laughed.

"Oh good. I was really panicked there for a second," he chuckled, "have you eaten?"

"Yes. Are you hungry?"

"No, they fed us on set."

"Oh that was nice."

"Mhm. Do you just wanna go watch TV in bed?" He played with the ends of her hair.

"Yes," she smiled, "that sounds perfect."

"I think so too," he grinned.

The two of them walked hand in hand back to their bedroom. Hannah hugged his arm and smiled up at him. She was so glad that she had come home early. They both were insanely busy with work leading up to the week before their wedding.

"I'm gonna jump in the shower quickly. I did a lot of running today, so I probably stink," he kissed her forehead.

"Okay," she nodded.

Jesse grabbed some clothes before hurrying into the bathroom. Hannah waited until she could hear the water. She walked over to the bed and pulled out the small bag from under the bed. She adjusted the tissue paper once more before setting it down on his side of the bed.

Hannah walked over to the bathroom and quietly walked in. She took off her robe and slipped into the shower behind Jesse. She wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on the back of his shoulder.

"Well this is a nice surprise," he looked over his shoulder at her.

Hannah giggled a little as he turned around. He gently rubbed her cheek. Water dripped from his hair. She smiled up at him. Jesse ducked down and kissed her slowly. Hannah wrapped her arms around his waist again as they kissed under the steaming hot water. She pulled away gently.

"Now that. That was one of those baby making kisses," Jesse chuckled as she laid her head on his chest.

"Oh absolutely," she agreed.

"I'm glad you came home early. I've missed you. We've both been so busy."

"I know. We basically only see each other at night as long as I don't have a game."

"Which is rare," he kissed her forehead.

"I know," she sighed, "but I'm looking forward to our honeymoon. I have you all to myself for a whole three weeks."

"I am looking forward to that too," he grinned, "it can't come soon enough."

"I'm counting the days," she laughed.

"Come on. Let's get outta here," Jesse reached behind him and shut the water off.

The two of them stepped out of the shower and began towelling off. Hannah's stomach was turning a little bit as she walked back into their bedroom. She grabbed a silk night gown and pulled it on.

"What's this?" Jesse asked, pointing at the gift bag on his side of the bed.

"A little gift for you," Hannah smiled.

"Aw thanks, babe," he grinned and picked it up.

He sat down on the bed, and Hannah moved to sit next to him. He kissed her cheek, "have I told you I love you?"

"I love you too," she grinned and leaned her head on his shoulder. Her heart was going out of its mind while she waited for Jesse to open his present.

Jesse began pulling the tissue paper out of the bag. He pulled out a small blue onesie. He opened it up, brows furrowed. He turned it over so he could see it said 'I love my daddy' on the front. He looked up at her.

"Hannah-" he broke off.

Hannah reached into the bag and pulled out the three positive pregnancy tests she had in the bag. She handed them to him with a grin. Jesse looked between them and her with wide eyes.

"You're pregnant?!" He grinned.

"I'm pregnant," she nodded.

"WOOO!" He shouted, jumping up while pumping his fists in the air, "WE'RE HAVING A BABY!"

Hannah grinned at Jesse's enthusiasm. He gently tugged her to her feet and hugged her tightly. He lifted her off her feet and spun her around. Hannah threw her head back laughing. He set her back down and grinned at her. Jesse gently cupped her cheeks before kissing her deeply.

"I'm... so... fucking... excited," he said in between kissing her lips.

"I'm excited too. We're starting a family," she grinned.

"A family," he echoed excitedly as the two of them got into bed.

"I have an appointment in two days at noon. It was the soonest I could get in. I know you're filming-"

"I'll be there," he interrupted.

"It's okay-"

"There's nothing more important than your first appointment," Jesse shook his head while resting a hand on her still flat stomach.

"Thank you," she smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Of course. Oh my God, I'm so excited! Who else did you tell?"

"Just you. I'm probably around like eight weeks, so it's still pretty early to be telling people."

Jesse nodded, "okay. We can figure out who else to tell later."

"Mhm. After we get back from our honeymoon, I'll be taking a bit of a step back from NBCSN."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive. I'm always so busy and stressed out. I want to enjoy this. It's our first baby," Hannah smiled, laying her hand on top of Jesse's.

"I want to enjoy this too. Let me know when your appointments are, and I will be there."

"Of course," she smiled and kissed his cheek, "I love you."

"I love you too. And I love our baby. Forever."

"Forever," Hannah echoed snuggling into his arms.
