Today is going to be the best day ever for my Jisooya!!!
After our argument a couple weeks ago, we got on the same page with how everything's going. Work has been consistent recently, so that has helped us focus on other things too.
New Year's was a lot of fun. We ended up hanging out, all four us, and singing until the sun came up—like our trainee days.
BUT TODAY, is a very special occasion for someone very special!
I'm planning My Love's surprise birthday party!!!
She's been working long days on her K-Drama, I'm so glad she's able to have her day off. I had Chaeng and Jennie help me with the festivities—mainly inviting all of Jisoo's close friends. I'm in charge of the cakes and hiding all of her presents until we surprise her!
I really don't know how all of this worked out, but since Jisoo's been sleeping over at my place, Chae and Jennie were able to help me put everything together. Last night, I was able to give my babygirl a small sneak preview. It was just the two of us on a date night, as part one of her special day!
I even posted at midnight on Instagram! Jisoo wasn't sure about it, but it was just small enough to let the world know that she was with me when the clock struck 12 (hehe!)

I really wish I could share with the world just how amazing she makes me feel! I get butterflies just thinking about her beautiful face!!!
The members are planning to have her visit the Blackpink dorm for her party. Everybody is on their way as we speak!
I put the finishing touches on one of her cakes, the one I baked myself! Actually, Jennie unnie came up with the idea—I just tagged along and put my name in there, kekeke.
"Lisa, do you know what time she'll be back?" Chae asks, bringing around a bouquet of flowers on the table.
"Her and her sister should be back in an hour or two. She texted me that she's wrapping things up with her parents, and then she's on her way!"
I hear Jennie open the front door and welcome guests inside.
I love seeing how many people really do love Jisoo. Aside from Blackpink, she's only made a few really good friends over the last decade. She's super outgoing in general, but the ones she holds close know the line between acquaintances and actual friends. I've gotten to know some cool people because of her too! None of them know about her and I, though. Sadly, I'm going to have to play the "bestfriend" for her party. Ugh!!!
An hour later
"SURPRISE!!!"
"Oh my god!!" My Love walks through the door with her hands over her mouth.
I'm right next the door way and I can't contain the smile on my face!! We're all clapping as her and her sister make their way in.
