Wah, I did it! There was a wave of relief saying it out loud. But as the silence gets louder and louder, a second wave is crashing over me. I'm so scared for whatever's going to happen next...

"You like...me?"Jisoo's voice sounds so soft compared to earlier.

My hands instantly get cold and clammy. She did tell me to tell the person, so she can't say I'm not following her advice.

"I'm sorry, Jisoo, I didn't mean to make it weird!" Old Lisa would make a run for it, but I feel paralyzed in this bed. Even New Lisa doesn't know what to do. I've never done this before. I've never liked anyone like this before.

"No, it's okay," she says in English. It's always so cute when she speaks in a different language! "All of this a shock to me. But can I tell you something?"

She pauses the movie on the TV and sits up to face me. I'm holding my breath as I nod to her.

"I've known for awhile."

Huh???

"Wait, what do you mean?" I'm confused right now. I expected her to yell at me and say that I shouldn't be having these feelings. If she's known before this, I wonder how it's been for her!

"Lisa, you're so bad at hiding anything!" she laughs, "And I'm not stupid. You've been at my side for almost ten years. I've seen you grow up and become a different person right before my eyes."

"So you're not mad at me?" I can barely talk. My mouth is so dry and it feels as though my throat is closing.

"I can never be mad at you. But you're lucky I like you too." She plays the movie again and turns her head forward like nothing happened.

It took me a second to process what she just said.

WHAT?!?

WAIT, WHAT?!?

"Unnie!!! Wha--"I get a slap on the arm from her.

"Shh, Lisa! Don't be loud, it's rude." Her eyes don't leave the screen.

How can she be so calm right now?!?

"You like me???"I say, in my best whisper-yell. Remember when I said my heart was going to explode? It just did.

Jisoo pauses the movie again. I'm staring at her face, not realizing how big my smile is right now. She turns to me and her cheeks are blushing too!

I sit up on my knees and start bouncing on the mattress. I can't contain myself! "What do we do? I don't know what just happened! Unnie, you like me too?! Since when, for how long?!"

"Lisa, calm down! Let's talk about this then, okay? Just don't make so much noise! "Her hand grabs my wrist as I stop moving. I might be over reacting, but this is BIG news!

I open my arms to give her a giant hug. Her arms are stuck inside my grasp and I squeeze her so tight from the excitement. I start giving her small kisses on the shoulder as she laughs and struggles at the same time.

I finally get a chance to chill out and sit directly in front of her. I didn't know a moment like this could ever be possible! "I'm sorry, I'm so happy right now!"

"I do like you, Lisa. Actually, everyone does." Jisoo's playing with a loose string on her blanket, and trying not to look at me.

"But, but...I don't care for everyone else." I grab her hand and stop it from moving. She feels cold and sweaty too.
