Alessandro's POV

It has been 13 years since my Principessa disappeared. I've never stopped looking.

My sons were destroyed when their little sister was taken. When we found out that Leah took her, Lorenzo and Antonio turned to stone.

They were the closest to Vi.

Finding out that his mom had abandoned him, Benedetto went quiet.

Marco and Niccolo tried to keep us all together, but you could tell they are still in pain.

We all struggled, she was the light of our lives.

I'm knocked out of my thoughts as I walk into the kitchen where I am attacked into a hug by Lucas. He's one of the only things that keeps me together anymore. I squat down to his level as he wraps his arms around my neck.

"Hi daddy," Lucas says as he stuffs his face into my neck.

I know you're probably thinking... I thought he had 5 sons.

Well, Leah and I only had 5 sons, but after 8 years of searching for Viola I was in America following a lead and I met Lucas' mom.

She is the kindest woman I've ever met. She loves the boys, but of course, they have a tough time.

They thought I was replacing Viola when Lucas was born but that couldn't be any further from the truth. I will never stop searching for her.

Snapping out of my thoughts I respond "Hey bub, how was your day"

"Good! I got to eat 3 strawberries" he shouts and puts up his fingers trying to show three but accidentally showing four.

I chuckle fixing his fingers "This is three bub, but that's awesome!"

He giggles and simply hugs me again.

Moments like this with him make me miss my Principessa even more.

I pick up Lucas and start to carry him to the couch when my phone starts ringing.

With Lucas still on my hip, I grab my phone and realize it's my wife calling me.

Knowing she usually doesn't call from work I answer quickly

"Hey, baby," I say

"Alessandro I-," she pauses

"Baby, what's wrong?" I ask, she doesn't answer

"Veronica?" I say

"It's Viola."
