Viola

Chapter 24

Viola's POV

Waking up I blink away the tiredness in my eyes and raise my head out of the crook of Alexi's neck to find him already staring at me. Searching around the room for a clock, my eyes land on the cable box of my tv. 

I read across the bottom and frown lightly when I see that it's 4 AM.

"Why are you up? It's so early." I question him. He shrugs lightly letting out a little sigh. 

"I felt you stirring a bit ago, you calmed down when you realized where you were but I wanted to stay up for a bit to make sure you were alright." 

He responds. 

I frown lightly feeling terrible for waking him up. 

"I'm-" I begin but he interrupts me

"Don't you dare apologize Viola. I am perfectly happy to wake up at any hour to make sure you're comfortable and if you try to make yourself feel bad about it I will tickle you until you forget how old you are." He says sternly. I falter but relax.

Smiling, I lean up and quickly press a kiss to his lips, giggling when he presses deeper into the kiss. 

After a minute or so, I pull away, holding back a chuckle at the adorable pout on his face. 

"Come backkkkkk," he drags out, pulling me closer by my waist. 

"I just want to grab some water from downstairs and I can come back and lie down for a bit. You stay here, I'll bring you some." He pouts once again but nods.

I hear him flop over and groan as I make it to the door and shake my head with a smile plastered across my face.

As I walk into the kitchen I hear light whispers which hush almost simultaneously as I make my way through the corridor. 

Turning the corner, I blink rapidly at the sight in front of me and my jaw drops with a slight gasp.

There, stood Dr. Alex (Dr. Hexler) and Leo, locked into a passionate kiss. 

Upon hearing my gasp they both spun around rapidly, a shy blush tinting Dr. Alex's cheeks while Leo looked smug. 

"I-" I began, searching for words to express what was running through my brain

"Viola, I can explain-" Dr. Alex begun, shifting uncomfortably

I interrupt him.

"I get another brother?" I ask looking at Leo. 

"That's the hope." He responds, pulling Dr. Alex's hand into his own. 

I smile brightly at the pair, rushing over and crushing Dr. Alex into a hug, smiling as the tension in his body melts away.

"So you're okay with this?" He asks, pulling me away from his torso. 

I let out a light chuckle. "Of course, why wouldn't I be? I'm happy as long as the people I care about are happy and you're one of those people now Al." I smiled at the nickname I've generated, it's fitting. "So, are you... like, you know... happy?"

His eyes flitted above my head, glancing at what I can only assume was Leo before he looked back at me with a soft smile, nodding surely.

I let my features light up completely as I pull him back into a hug, reaching out and pulling Leo in as well.

Okay people, please, please, please don't kill me. 

I know how short this is , and trust me this is not all you're getting this week. I got super sick as I was writing and haven't been able to get back on since with getting better and work and school so my plan is to put this adorable little blip that everyone has been waiting for into the story and then to make the next chapter about how Al and Leo got together and then I will do my best to get that new character page that I promised. 

I  am so sorry about the long wait and for the fact that this chapter is so short, but I promise I will start posting more and more regularly as soon as I get settled into school.
