Breakfast with Ace's family was interesting to say the least. Luffy had tried stealing some food off of your plate, only to earn himself a hit over the back of the head from Pops. The older gentleman scolding his son saying it was disrespectful to take food of a lady's plate.

Chopper had actually run into your chair at one point almost knocking you over. The pup simply shaked his head and got back to his game of tag with Royal.

Ace was trying to have a conversation with you but two older brothers wouldn't allow that to happen.

Thatch and Marco had spent a good amount of time teasing Ace saying you'll be able to tutor the freckled cutie in the bedroom and other nonsense. You weren't sure if this was a jab at you being older then Ace or the fact that you've had more sexual partners then Ace. Either way it had you laughing when you saw how red Ace's face got at the comment.

"Guys cut it out." Sabo grumbled he didn't want to hear what lewd comments his older brothers had to say and he also thought it was disrespectful to you. He was a gentleman after all.

"They're fine. Might as well let them have some fun seeing as they don't have any girlfriends to have fun with." You shot the two older brothers a pointed look. They both of them looked slightly mortified, they weren't expecting you to counter their teasing.

"Guhahaha Ace you got yourself a good one." Pops loud laughter broke Thatch and Marco out of their shock. Marco was cringing at his father's loud laugh while Thatch let out a sigh of defeat, he couldn't argue there; you did get them good.

"I know. (Y/N)'s the best." Ace wrapped an arm around your shoulder and pulling you close so he could plant a kiss on the top of your head. You nuzzled your head into his neck enjoying his embrace.

"Good. It looks like you two get along quite well. That's another one of my boys that can give me grandkids." Pops commented, both you and Ace stiffened up, it was too early in the relationship to be talking about children. Next to Ace, Sabo was choking on his coffee obviously not expecting Pops to say such a thing.

"Pops they just started dating, let them ya' know actually have a relationship before they start thinking about kids." Thatch said, he was being the voice of reason here.

"Your right my boy. But Sabo and Koala have been dating for three years now, I expect grandkids from them soon."

"Pops! We're not even married yet!" Sabo protested his voice sounded a little raspy from choking on his drink.

"Then get married. What's keeping you my boy?"

You decided to step in so on argument wouldn't break out. "Ace says you want to have a party for us."

That did it. Almost instantly the conversation went from Sabo  proposing to his girlfriend to the party for you and Ace.

The food of the party was  discussed the longest, Luffy going on about all the different types of meat that had to be there. Decorations were mostly talked between you and Thatch, Ace wanted this to be a party you would enjoy so he was fine with whatever you picked.

Since you started work in two days the party was going to happen tomorrow, you insisted it didn't have to be so soon but Newgate simply said it'd be a bit of fun before you went of to work.

"What does a museum curator even do?" Ace questioned, he'd been to the museum one time as a kid and the only people he saw working there was the people at the front desk and security guards.

"Well I'd be in charge of setting up exhibits as well as the budget for said exhibits. I'd also catalog and archive all artifacts that the museum gets also researching said artifacts. And other administrative duties." You explained really you'd be working behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly for the museum.

"Sounds like a lot of work." Thatch commented.

"It is. More then I'm used to since I used to do freelance work. But I'm sure I'll enjoy it." You always enjoyed when your mom would actually pay attention to you as a kid, often times she'd take you to the museum were the two of you would spend the whole day together.

Next to you Ace was pouting slightly, he was happy that you seemed so enthusiastic about your job. But after you just listed off all the stuff you would have to do, it sounded like there'd be little time for the both of you. You peered over at Ace sensing his change in demeanor.

You smirked a little, sometimes your partner was such an open book that you could tell exactly what was going on in his mind.

"It is a lot of work but I do get an hour long lunch break. Which is great seeing as the museum is only open 9-5. Plus if an exhibit isn't going on I only work 9-2." You added on in hopes of lifting Ace's spirits, which it did the boy was all smiles again.

"Well it sounds like you got yourself a good job lass." Pops said to which you nodded. He reached into his back pocket, pulling out his wallet and fishing around until he found his credit card. "Here, use this to buy stuff for the party. Don't let the boys touch it though lass. These idiots would waste it on foolishness."

"I resent that comment yoi."

"I only want to buy meat!"

"Ace is the one that buys foolishness."

"Hey!"

This was definitely the most eventful breakfast you ever had. And something told you it probably wouldn't be your last.
