I'm in a Video Game? [Okami Story]

Kusa Village

As Waka left, Issun kept babbling. I had no idea what the little sprite was saying as I was in my own little world...completely lost in thought.  My curiosity of Waka just kept on growing. Just then, I was snapped out of my thoughts by Ammy tugging on my sleeve.
"Hey girly. You okay? You were in a daze!" Issun exclaimed, hopping up and down infront of me. I blinks twice before slowly nodding my head. 
"Eh...I'm fine. Come on...let's get going before It gets dark." With that, I started to make my way up the wooden staircase that lead up to the location near the guardian sapling.

Ammy quickly blooms the sapling and this purifies the cursed zone, allowing us to venture further into Taka Pass. I hope the condition of Kusa Village doesn't affect me. I know...in the game, the musky air causes Ammy's ink pots to slowly demolish.  What will It do to a human like me? Will I get sick..? 
"Jenn! Are you sure you are okay? You're zoning out alot." Issun calls, the little bug sounded concerned.
"Ah...I am fine...Just thinking." I reply with a small sigh. 
"Are you tired..?"
"....We'll go with that." I mumbled. Ammy stopped and then looked at me, she wanted me to climb up onto her back. And so I did. We then continued to make our way up to Kusa Village.

Kusa Village almost made me sick...just approaching the village's entrance made me wanna throw up. 
"Ammy..Go up to the shrine where Princess Fuse is...She's being possessed by a demon...That is what's defiling the air here." I blurt out, shivering slightly as my body grew weaker. "Just put me down right here and go up there...I wanna lay down.." 
Ammy looks back at me before nodding, stopping to let me slide off of her back. 
"Will you be okay, Jenn?" Issun asked.
"Yeah...Now hurry up and go save the Princess!"
"Okay okay! Let's go Ammy!" The sprite yelled. The white wolf took off towards the shrine and I just sat down against a rock, closing my eyes to rest them.
