I'm in a Video Game? [Okami Story]

The sound of birds was the first thing I heard as I slowly started to come to.  I felt a soft breeze hit my skin, causing a shiver to go up my spine. "Ugh...My head.." I slowly sat up before opening my eyes, once my vision focused, my eyes widen. "Wha...?!" This isn't my home...This isn't even America...It doesn't look li--" I paused, soon recognizing the area in front of me. "Wait a second..This looks like Shinshu field.." I managed to push myself up as I scanned the area. This is definately Shinshu field.. The Guardian sappling is right above my head..But..It wasn't bloomed...And there is a cursed zone all around me. Thank God I didn't land in that cursed zone..Just being near it made me feel ill. Wait..Since the cursed Zone is still spread out throughout the land, that means Orochi is still alive...And Ammy isn't even awake yet? Many questions ran through my mind.  I have to go check. Oh boy..if Ammy isn't awake, that means the huge rock is still sitting at the entrance to Kamiki village..Which means, I can't get in. "Oh just my luck.." I mumbled as I started heading towards the village, hoping the rock isn't there..  Once arriving, I was right, The rock is still there. I can't get in. "..Hello?" I called hoping someone would hear me. Just then, as I was about to walk away, I heard a huge crash, and I spun around. The rock had been split in two. And there stood, Ammy, with little Issun bouncing on her head. 

"Hey! Who are you?" Issun's tiny voice called to me as I spun around to face the white wolf..I can see Amaterasu's markings.  Ammy didn't see me as a threat so she just sat there and stared at me...That's right..My clothes are of modern day. I was gonna stick out like a sore thumb! "Oi! sweets, are ya gonna answer me?" Issun bounced off the white wolves head and over to me. "Who are you? and why are you dressed all funny..? What's with the color of your hair? Are you a human?" So many questions.. 

"Whoa whoa..slow down.." I manage to reply, kneeling down to get a better look at the poncle.  "....Am I really in Nippon?"

"Eh? Yeah! What kinda question is that?" Issun replies, still bouncing away. "Who are ya?"

"My name is Jenn."

"Jenn? strange name.." Issun commented. "What are ya doing here? It's dangerous out there! Monsters everywhere!" Luckily I had no problems with the monsters, the demon scrolls didn't seem to bother me. I remembered they do become more active at night though.  

"I know...But I am not from here.." 

"Huh? What do you mean?" 

"I'm from...uh.." There's no way he'd believe me if I told him I was from the future.. Oh well, worth a try. "I'm from America. From the future."

"...." Issun had stopped bouncing and he stared at me, as did Ammy. "...Eh?"

"I know it sounds strange...But from where I come from, you two are from a video game called Okami..--"

"..You are one strange woman..But that's okay, I like strange!" 

"I wasn't done talking." I sighs, continuing to tell my story. "There was an earthquake and I think I pass out...And when I came to.. I was laying under the guardian sappling. I know this sounds totally ridiculous..but It is true." 

"I dunno why but I feel I can believe you. Anyway! We gotta Get rid of the cursed Zone out in Shinshu field!" The poncle returns to Ammy's head and they began to walk passed me. I bit my lip before speaking. 

"Can I come with you..? I may not look it, but my knowledge of this place will be extremely useful to you two." 

"....Eh..I dunno..What do you think, Ammy?" 

Amaterasu simply barks, wagging her tail. I take that as a...yes?

"Ammy said yes. Stay close then~ I heard the monsters out here are nasty!"
