Alexandre glanced down at Adder. The kwami had made their home in one of Alexandre's pockets on the inside of his coat. If they weren't under a time limit, he would've taken the time to appreciate how cute kwamis were.

The Andre's house was bigger than he expected. Medusa's magic had caused the building to triple in height. She was growing more powerful. Either that, or her imagination was getting more creative.

"There should be a power outlet nearby," Adder hissed to him, "We're lucky it'll only cut out the houses on this street... turns out big houses use a lot of energy. You know this will be a crime, right?"

"Good thing I have a time-travelling kwami that can't be caught on camera," Alexandre smirked at them. "No one will notice if-"

"Are you suggesting I aid you in this?" Adder huffed. "I don't think this is a good use of me, Master..."

"If there's cameras, they won't spot you. I might get arrested if they catch me... you don't want that to happen, do you? There won't be any record of me. I won't be able to do my job properly-"

Adder eventually relented. "Fine. Fine! I'll just... crash into the breaker or something. That should work... what if the house has backup power?" They asked, "All fancy houses tend to. Especially if they're a technology guru."

"The backup power will take a moment to switch on. In that time, the team will be able to escape, since the A.I won't be able to keep those defences up. I doubt Medusa made it run without power. Most of her imagination should've gone to... other things," he said.

The breaker was across the street. The dark paint made the metal box stand out in the brightly painted street. The warning signs on the side couldn't have made it any more obvious as to what it was.

Adder flew out of Alexandre's pocket and passed straight through the metal casing on the outside. Alexandre stepped back as sparks flew out of the breaker, expecting a loud noise at the least. Instead, there was a slight buzzing sound, and then nothing.

"All done, Master!" Adder cried as they flew out of the breaker. "We should get out of here before the entire street starts to complain... look, I'll get us a portal back..."

Alexandre chuckled lightly. "You know, I never expected I'd end up doing this when I became the Guardian... messing with Paris' power? My mother best not hear about this..."

They stepped through the portal and headed home, eager to see if their efforts had changed the future for the good.

Medusa's security room was plunged into darkness. Her security cameras shut down, and the wall separating her and Coyote disappeared. Almost like it was never there in the first place.

"What's... going on?" Medusa whirled around in confusion. "RAPH! What have you done?! Where's all the lights gone?! Turn everything back on!"

Coyote ran up to Medusa and pinned her arms behind her back. He shoved her against the wall, his claws digging into her outfit. "Right! Let my friends go, you freak!" He demanded.

"Um. Not to interrupt, but we've just had a blackout," Raphael muttered, awkwardly sitting there. "That's why RAPH stopped working. Not like anyone cares..."

"Shut up," Coyote scowled, "Medusa, release RAPH from your possession. I can always take your Miraculous off of you..."

"You're starting to sound like me, there," Medusa chuckled. "Forcing my Miraculous off of me... whatever will your teammates say?"
