Alexandre had woken up by the time Flo had made soup for him. The kwamis had made him comfortable, although he still seemed weak. His face lit up as he saw Flo enter the room with a bowl of hot soup. She placed the tray on his lap and smiled.

"My mother used to make me tomato soup when I was ill," Alexandre explained between sips, "Oh, um... I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Alexandre."

"You don't have a last name?" Flo asked him, "You never know - I might know some of your family."

"Um... I don't think so... I don't want you knowing more than you need to. Just in case someone tries to bring harm to my family," he replied, "You shouldn't keep me here... what if Medusa comes after you?"

"Psh. I'll be fine. It's better for you to stay here rather than that abandoned house, anyway. What if they found you in there? No... I'm sure my grandmother won't mind you staying. I, uh... don't know how to explain it to her, though."

The front door opened and someone shuffled inside. Flo gasped - her grandmother was home. She dashed off to see May carrying shopping bags into the hallway.

"G-Grandmother!" Flo casually blocked her bedroom door. "Um... I have something to tell you. I, uh... agreed to help out with an exchange thing at school. There was one extra boy, and... I said we'd take care of him for a while. He can sleep on the sofa bed."

May stared at her. "Is he in your room? Can I... can I say hello, at least?"

Alexandre stepped out of Flo's room, an empty bowl in his hands. He saw May and bowed. "Ah... you must be Flo's grandmother. Thank you for letting me stay here. I'll repay you however I can."

"I thought you said he was a schoolboy, Flo," May frowned. "He looks a bit older than that..."

"I was held back a year or so," Alexandre lied, handing the bowl to Flo. "Flo was just showing me her room."

May nodded and handed a shopping bag to Flo. "Right... dear, can you help me with the shopping? It's a lot to carry on my own."

Flo dashed off to help May, which left Alexandre alone again. He went back inside Flo's room and fished the Miracle Box out of his backpack. He'd need to find a place to hide it. Now that he thought about it, something seemed familiar about May. He just couldn't remember what.

He walked outside with the Miracle Box in his hands and bumped into May. He almost dropped the box in the process. "S-Sorry-!" He apologised, trying to hide the Miracle Box behind his back.

May caught sight of it and tilted her head. "You don't have to hide anything from me. What is that? Some school project?"

"Yes," he lied again, "I want to put it in a safe place. Do you have a safe or something where I can put this?"

May nodded and took the Miracle Box from Alexandre. "I have a safe in my room. I'll put it there for you." She told him. She walked away and rushed to her bedroom, placing the Miracle Box next to the safe.

Her fingers traced the compartments of the Miracle Box. She smiled softly as she placed it inside the safe. She turned the lock and slammed the door shut.

"Are you gonna help me with these bags, grandmother?" Flo called out to her.

"Coming, Flo!" May replied, shuffling out of her room.

Viper placed Claudine down on her bed and sighed. He wasn't sure if he should detransform now or wait until she woke up. He placed a hand on her forehead and smiled softly.
