This is my type of suprise

Kuvira POV

I woke up early in the morning wanting to surprise y/n with breakfast in bed to find that she was not in bed

I looked around the dim room to see a light coming from the bathroom 'y/n must be using the bathroom' I thought as I got up from our shared bed

But the closer I got the the bathroom the more noises I could hear and the noises were not good

"Y/n are you okay" I peaked my head in the bathroom to see y/n on the floor throwing up in the toilet

"Baby what's wrong" I went to embrace her but was stopped when she put her hands up

Tears was in the corner of her eyes "I'm fine I just feel a little sick" y/n stood up and flushed the toilet she went towards the sink and began to wash her mouth out

I didn't know what to say I was sad to know that she was throwing up but the first thing that came to mind was "are you pregnant"

Y/n shakes her head no "I just finished my period yesterday. And the last time we had sex was last week" I pouted

"Okay but if your sick you should stay home" y/n turned her head to me and she looked awful

She had practically no color in her face her usual plump and big cheeks were sunken in and she had bags under her eyes

"Sigh i guess your right" y/n swayed back and forth as she exited the bathroom and plopped onto the bed "how about I make you some breakfast"

Y/n chuckled "honey as sweet as you are you don't know the first thing about cooking" I began to pout once more 'she's right I don't know a single thing about cooking' I thought

As I laid out my uniform surprised to see how wrinkled it was "baby did you iron my uniform" y/n lifted her arm up and pointed to a door "check the other closet"

I put the wrinkled uniform back and opened the other closet and took out one of the uniforms this time it was smooth and smelt like flowers "thank you hunny. But did you polish my armor cause it's looking a little rusty" you shook your head no and pointed to the metal cleaner kit on the dresser

"But baby I don't know how to polish it" y/n picked up her head and raised her brow at me before dropping her head back down

"Oh yeah your sick I guess I'll just exchange the metal" once done I put my uniform on smiling st how good I looked but then realizing that my hair was a mess

Usually y/n would brush my hair and help me but she was sick so it was just up to me

So after a few minutes I was able to straighten out my hair and put it in a bun

"Alright y/n I going" Y/n suddenly stood up and wrapped a blanket around her "I wanna se you off"

She slipped on her indoor slippers as she followed me outside "what are you doing today" y/n asked as she followed me out to where the train was "today is the day we're we test out the spirit cannon capability of the test goes smoothly which it should we can start putting the mech together"

For some reason y/n stopped dead in her track and began to look sad "can I ask you something Kuvira" I cocked my head at her "of course baby"

"What happened to bolin and Varrick" my body practically shook as those names graced my ears 'I thought she would have forgotten about them already or at least hate them so much that she would not even want to think about them' I thought

"you know what happened to them. what happens to all traitors to the empire though there demise was not planned it was soon to come anyway" tears began to swell in her eyes causing my hard exterior to melt

"Why.. why did he betray us" I put my hand on her cheek and wiped away her tears "why do people do anything. But I have a feeling it was because of love" I put my arm around y/n and continued to walk

"Love makes people do crazy things. I should know I've gotten quite violent in the past when ever you got hurt" I rested her head on my shoulder

"But don't worry we don't need them. We can rebuild the empire together without there help" I pulled y/n into an embrace and kissed her forehead
