YN's Pov

Once we're off the plane we were all hit with a beautiful forest, there were trees as tall as the clouds, the immense aroma of wild flowers and herbs and the sound of wildlife could be heard all around. Just standing here gives you a sense of peace as the sun shines on your face, but I know all too well that this place is anything but peaceful.

"Kenma, if I'm right we have spawned on the southside of the map?" Hinata and Kageyama turn to look at us in shock but I kept my gaze locked on Kenma, already knowing what he was going to say.

"Yes it's roughly the same place where we played before, through those trees you can see the giant rock on the beach." He looks at Kageyama and Hinata. "The whole plot of this game is to investigate the whereabouts of the other passengers and find out what happened to the main characters son Timmy who is your character in the game but as you can see we are ourselves." He pauses for a moment before continuing.

"When we plugged in the game in the real world I didn't recognise what it was because of that weird voice, that never happened in the original game, not to mention when me and Y/N played, we were never sucked in. Wait a minute, did the humanoid on the plane take Timmy??"

I thought for a moment before gasping, "No it was a random NPC, I didn't think anything of it but now I remember, this is so weird shouldn't the story be the same? Perhaps maybe it is changing because we are now technically the main characters instead of Timmy's dad?"

Kenma's Pov

I look at YN processing our conversation right now, they're exactly right and unfortunately we are placed at a huge disadvantage, the only cards we had in our deck was our knowledge of how the game progresses and the storyline, but now we have taken over as the main characters it surely won't be the same, only time in the game will tell.

On the plane the humanoid took another random NPC instead of one of the main characters, Timmy, therefore showing us that it is irrelevant and the only informative detail from that encounter was seeing the humanoid, now it knows we are aware of it's presence it is definitely going to come for us.

Despite not knowing our storyline, what the humanoid doesn't know is that me and Y/N have played this game before, we know how to survive, we know the map and layout of the island, we know where to get materials and most importantly, we know how to kill them.

I look back up at my friends, "Listen, I know it's fucked up that we're stuck in a videogame, and a dangerous one at that, but it's going to be fine, Y/N and I have the knowledge to get through this and we will be here for you guys all the way, just promise to listen to every word we say and never go off on your own." Shoyo's eyes are glazed over with tears and Kageyama has a vacant expression on his face, it's totally understandable, no one has been in our position before.

I go to reassure them before Y/N starts speaking.

Y/N's Pov

"Guys." I put a hand on both Kageyama and Shoyo's shoulders. "I'm not going to sugar-coat it because our situation is serious. We are stuck in a videogame, on an island with a tribe of cannibals who are going to try and eat us, that is unavoidable as there is too many of them, what we can do is get started on surviving in here before we figure out how we were transported here.

It will do us no good to wander aimlessly looking for answers or a way out as we would most likely end up dead, I have no idea what happens if we die in here but I'm going to assume that if we die in here, we die for good. So like it or not we are going to have to stay here a while in order to prepare ourselves for survival.

What we need to do is pick a safe place to make a base, we need somewhere with high ground so we can constantly be on the lookout, a place close to a water source and wildlife as we are going to need to survive on more than plane snacks. With the axe Kenma picked up we can start to gather wood and various other materials.

I'm also going to assume that the monsters will progress with us like they did when Kenma and I first played, every week in the game a new monster appeared so we are going to need to be quick with our preparations as Kenma is the only one currently with a proper weapon, I do have a pocket knife but that will not do much damage."

"We can do this," I give them each a small smile and a hug.

"Lets go."

No ones Pov

The four students look around at each other, determination and the will to fight for their lives present on their faces, no more words need to be said. They each understand their current position and what it could mean if it all goes wrong, they start their journey further south, the safest place in the game with the least amount of cannibal camps. There they will find a vast hill that has a slim stream running from top to bottom, the perfect place for a camp.
