Leave no witnesses??? Does that mean there going to kill me?
Of coarse it does, you've been a witness to murder!I was internally arguing with myself, that I didn even notice someone calling out to me.
"Hey. Can you tell us your name?"Aaron asked.
I didn't know what to do. I knew better than to give randome people my name, but these guys did help me not die.
"V-victoria." I paused, "I'm Victoria Sanchez."
Aaron nodded, and then walked out of the room again. I could hear yelling and arguing between him and the man that glared at him.
Then, all seven guys came back in and stood in front of me. I thought I was about to pee my pants. They all gave each other looks, likethey knew more than I did, and then started to introduce themselves."Hello Victoria." Ethan spoke, "my name is Ethan. I'm the one who treated your leg."
"My name is Jacob. I'm very sorry for shouting." He was the one driving earlier.
"I'm Noah. I carried you in here, and I'm sorry for all of them." He pointed to the rest of the men.
I learned the names of the three guys that werent in the car. One named David, who had tanned skin and curly brown hair, while the other two I assumed twins. They both had dirty blonde hair, and the same hazel eyes. One was Liam, and the other was Logan.
But, why are they telling me this?"Um, excuse me?" I asked. Their eyes were all on me now, "when can I go back?"
Jacob had a looked of suprise, before his expression changed into one of anger and doubt.
"We found you on the street, all bruised up, and with a damn BULLET in your leg! And you want to go back?" He asked.
"Well, I dont really know any of you..."
It went quiet. No one said a word, and I tried my hardest not to tremble in front of them.
"Shes right." Ethan said to Aaron, patting him on the back. "But she shouldn't have to go back to that place."
He gave me a very intense stare, like he was trying to find something behind my eyes."Victoria, you will have to stay here with us until we find you a new home." Aaron said in voice that meant 'do as I say'.
I gave him a quick nod, and looked away from all of them. But, one question still lingered in my mind. I knew better than to ask, since they've already decided to take care of me, but I couldn't help myself.
"W-why would you do that?" I whispered. "I mean, I did witness you kill a man."
Aaron gave me a small smile, before answering. "Because you're innocent."
It's been a couple of hours since I've met the seven of them. So far, I haven't moved from the sofa, as I didn't want to disturb them. One of them would come and check on me, but that was all.
And I was fine with that.
After all, they were still strangers, and who knows what they could do!It was now around 10 pm, and to my suprise, no one had come to check on me. (Note the sarcasm)
I spoke too soon, and then Aaron came in."Victoria?" He asked from the door. His voice was intimidating to say the least, so I cranked my head to meet his eyes. "You should sleep."
"Oh. Right..."
I closed my eyes, still feeling Aaron starring at me. I felt really uncomfortable.
"Is something wrong?" I croaked.
"Arent you scared?" He asked, coming closer and sitting on the coffee table in front of me.
"Well, yes." He looked amused for some reason. "But you arent doing anything. And I'm sure other people are having it far worse that me right now."
"I'm amazed at how you can think of others in this situation." He murmered, but I heard it.
I stayed quiet. After some time, I managed to fall asleep. I didn't know how, or why, or even when. I was tired though, and took the opportunity to sleep good. And I did. For about four hours, until I screamed bloody murder.
I had a flashback. Dan was beating me like there was no tomorrow. He cut me, all over my arms, down my legs. He got the bottle of vodka, and poured it all over me. I was on fire. I screamed and yelled for him to stop, as he forced the vodka down my throat. It burned my throat, the taste was disgusting. I was choking on it, I couldn't breath, my hands reached for my throat, still screaming between breathes for him to stop.
SLAP
I felt a sharp sting on my cheek, and i woke up.
I saw the seven of them, all in front of me. I looked around, and saw that I was in a bed. The room wasn't decorated, it was pretty simple, so I assumed I was in a guest bedroom. Why would they move me?"What the fuck was that?" Ethan whispered, but his tone showed anger.
I was genuinely surprised that he asked me that. Why would they care? I stayed quiet.
"Victoria, why were you screaming?" Aaron asked in his usual scary voice.
I had no choice but to answer."I just had a nightmare, that's all." I meekly whispered.
Jacob, Ethan and looks of doubt, liam Logan, Noah and David looked suprised, and Aaron just didn't seem to have emotion. Ugh, why would he? He kills for a living!
"I've seen nightmares. You had something more than that." Aaron said.
"W-well, it was more like a flashback." I said, my eyes started to tear up. I quickly blinked them away. I cant show how weak I am in front of them! "And, I'm fine. Dont let me get in your way."
Now everyone looked suprised, even myself. I managed to say that so calmly.
"You shouldn't care about me anyways. I'm just a kid. Im sure you have better things to do."
"We do. But it's because your a kid, that I want to help." What Aaron said caught me off gaurd.
Sure they kidnapped me, and they all look really scary, but deep down I really think that he has some good intentions. Oh jeez. Do I have Stockholm syndrome? Another look at their faces told me that I most definitely did not.
But I had to admit, it was kinda nice of them to take me in for the time being. He pushed everyone out of the room, and sat back down in a chair in front of me.
"Tell me Victoria, how do you feel about getting beat up like that?" He asked. I didn't really know why he was asking, so I told him. Hoping that he wouldn't continue.
"I felt awful. Like a squashed fly on a window."
"And do you feel angry that he did that to you?"
"Yes."
"Do you wish he would just die?" He asked.
I didn't answer. I didn't want to answer. But I pushed myself, not knowing the consequences.
"Why do you want to know?"
