To outshine the darkness

Chapter 1

Leonora Vermillion P.O.V.

I step out of my tiny house and look up at the sky. "It sure was a beautiful day" I say softly. I walk off the path and around the house to the hot springs I made for myself. I take of my clothes and step into the hot water. I sigh deeply and close my eyes for a second. I lean both of my elbows on the rocks behind me and look up at the sky. I wonder..how everyone is doing. They're probably not missing me, the way I miss them. I frown when I see a dot in the sky. This frown grows when the dot becomes larger. Suddenly a wave of hot water hit me. "What the fuck?" I shout, standing up and rubbing the water out of my eyes. For a moment I see nothing, but then a head and shoulders pop out of the water, gasping and coughing. "Whew that was a close one!" The dark man says with his deep voice. "Huh?" He says when he sees me, he looks at me and then his eyes drift to my bare breasts. I immediately sit back down in the water but my grinoire floats beside me. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I ask as fire starts floating around my hand. "Wow relax. I just fell asleep on my broom" he man says dryly. "Fell asleep?" I raise my eyebrows. "Are you stupid or something?" I ask dryly. "Get out of my hot spring" I say. "Your hot spring?" The man asks annoyed. "Yeah I build it myself. I can force you you know" I say. The man grins. "I'd like to see you try" he says, standing up placing his hand on the katana on his hip. "Is that petty little katana supposed to scare me?" I ask amused, standing up again. The mans eyes immediately drift to my breasts again. Annoyed I shoot my fire at him.

In a tank top and hot pants I walk out of the kitchen, carrying a bucket of water and two bottles of beers. "Where are we?" The man, whose name is apparently Yami, asks looking around. "Somewhere in the mountains near the border of clover kingdom" I say, placing the bottles on the table, and the bucket beside him. I glance at his magic knight robe as I grab a cloth from the bucket. As I wrap the cloth around his arm, he puts a cigarette in between his lips with the other. "What are you doing al the way here?" He asks. "Living a peaceful life far away from the capital" I say. Yami glances at me, but doesn't say anything even though he's probably curious. "You shouldn't travel these parts in the dark. You can stay the night. I expect you to leave first thing in the morning though" I say. Yami smile slightly. "I can take care of myself" he says. "You can go if you want to, but it's never wise to travel unknown parts in the dark. I got to know what you're going to do now though. I'm about to start dinner" I say, standing up straight, placing my hand on my hip.  Yami blows out the smoke he just inhaled and then grins slightly. "Thank you for allowing me to stay." He says. I nod. I grab my beer, take a sip and grab the bucket before walking back to the kitchen. I start chopping up the vegetables. "I take it you come from the capital?" I look up to see Yami leaning against the doorway with his beer in his hand. I smile slightly. "Near yeah" I say.  "Why'd you leave?" He asks.  "A long list of reasons. But the main reason would be my parents and the royal society" I say. "Ah, so you're a royal brat huh?" Yami asks amused. "No. I used to be. Now I'm just a woman living in the montains" I say glancing over at him.

I wake up to feel a hand on my breast. I turn my head to find Yami next to me. I sigh deeply as I rub my eyes. I push his hand off of me and step out of my bed. Silently I put on clean panties, hotpants and a tank top before walking toward the kitchen to make coffee and breakfast. "Ohayo" I look up when I hear his voice. "Ohayo" I say, sliding a mug of coffee toward him. He catches the mug. "Thanks" he mumbles. He sits down onto a chair and lights a cigarette. I place a plate with breakfast in front of him, then sit down at the head of the table with my own mug of coffee. "You can finish your breakfast, then you have to leave" I say. "That's awfully cold after last night" Yami says amused. "Yeah well. You know where I live, if you want it again just stop by" I say, taking the cigarette from between his lips and put it between my own. "Why should I go through all the trouble for a booty call, when you can come with me?" Yami asks. I grin amused blowing out the smoke as I give him back the cigarette. "After all the trouble I went through to leave, why should I come with you?" I ask. Yami leans back in his chair. "Join my squad and fight against it" he says. "What squad is that?" I ask. "Black bulls" he says. "Never heard of them" I say. "You were probably already gone by then" Yami shrugs. "Why should I join the black bulls, when I can join the crimson lions if I want to?" I ask. "Do you see Fuegoleon fighting against the royals?" Yami asks. "Fuegoleon-niisama?" I ask surprised. "Yeah probably not" I sigh. "Besides" Yami leans back forward and takes my chin in his hand. "If you come with me, you can get an orgasm like the one you had yesterday whenever you want" he says amused. I blush. "T-that was just because it's been a long time" I stammer. Yami grins. "Right" he says.
