Chapter 13

*Morning*

*Asami's pov*

I was walking down the hallways of the Air Temple Island, hoping that Korra was awake but, then again, it was 9 am, too early for her.

I walked into the dining room and I saw Pema there making breakfast

"Good morning Pema, can I help you somehow?" She almost dropped the plate she had in her hand when I spoke up

"Oh spirits Asami don't scare me like that" she laughed and looked at me "good morning to you too, and no I got this, I'm actually almost done" she smiled as I walked to the window and looked out.

"Are you here for Korra?"

"Yeah, how is she?"

"She reminds me of her 16-year-old self, you know, the hotheaded girl that wanted to learn air bending with force" well what have I expected? I mean, Korra's bending visibly became weaker since the accident and she lost a lot of muscle, but she was working on both past 2 months when she started walking properly again, she still struggles with running for a long time, but I'm working on more prototypes so that she will feel more comfortable with her leg, it has been hard on her, and her dark side was taking over her again but I promised myself to help her and take care of her, after all, I am her friend, I wouldn't forgive myself if the same thing that happened 5 years ago would happen again, and that I have a feelings for her won't make it better

I chuckled and looked my eyes scanned the outside, there was a clear view into the training area, and I could see some air benders and-... Korra?

"Uh... Pema? Since when is Korra getting up so early?" I looked at the shorter woman and she walked up to me

"Are you sure that's Korra?"

"If not then Korra has a secret twin, just look at her, she's training with the other air benders" I pointed at the girl of my dreams as we watched her and other air benders training.

"Wow that girl is full of surprises, go get her Asami" she chuckled and she went back to preparing breakfast

"Wait how do you-"

"You have it written across your whole face" she started laughing and I could feel my cheeks turn red, play dumb

"What?"

"Oh Asami there's this big text 'I'm gay for the Avatar Korra' written on your forehead" she kept laughing. It can't be that visible... can it?

"Okay okay, by the way, is Kya here?"

"She should be in her room, why? Are you okay"

"Yup everything is okay, I just need to ask her something"

"Alright then"

I sighed and walked out saying bye to Pema as I made my way to Kya's room.

When I got there I knocked on the door and opened them

"Hey Kya can I-" Holy shit-

I quickly closed the door and walked away, what have I just witnessed?........ I mean, I knew Kya and Lin were together but, damn who would think that Lin is a bottom- Nah that must have been just the moment, Lin is definitely top, or a switch?- Jesus Asami what the hell?

I quickly shook off the thoughts and walked outside to the training area.

I sat down on the bench and I watched the air benders playing some kind of game, there was this ball and they had to use air bending to toss it to someone else, they seemed like they are having fun, and it didn't take long for Jinora to notice me as she whispered something to Korra and Korra looked at me afterwards, she said something to Jinora back and made her way to me.
