Kian Tiu's POV

I don't know what to do. I'm nervous as of this moment. Troy went unconscious. I drove fast to the nearest hospital and quickly send him to the emergency room. I called his parents and they're on their way to get here.

As I wait outside someone called me. It was Troy's parents.

"Kian! How's Troy? What happened?" Her mom asked me.

"He's currently in the emergency room. When we are about to leave the park, he seems to be in pain and suddenly his nose starts to bleed and he went unconscious." I explained to her mother.

"We should have been more careful and protective of him." His father said.

"Yeah, but you know it will make him feel upset whenever we try to be that kind of parents." Her mother said.

"Yes, but look what happened his condition got even worse. We could not let this happen if we forced him to go to Canada, where there are doctors who are expert in his condition." His father said.

I'm confused and curious about what they are talking about. "Is Troy ill? Why would Troy go to Canada? What's happening to Troy?" I asked myself.

"Excuse me Tito and Tita but what's happening to Troy, why would he need to go to Canada?" I asked them. To be honest I feel bad about what am I about to know.

"Did he not tell you?" His mom said.

"Tell what?" I asked her mom.

"He has a Stage 2 Leukemia." His dad said. I cannot find the courage to talk as well as words to talk. "Stage 2 Leukemia" keeps on echoing inside my head.

"Kian." his mom called me.

"Kian." For the second time, she called me again but I don't have the courage to talk.

"Why didn't he tell me?" I asked myself. I stuttered for like a minute. I feel like I am about to break down. I'm falling to pieces. I took a sit from the chairs inside the hospital.

I looked at them with tears falling from my eye. They embraced me, as Tita cries, Tito remained and taps her back. We parted our ways and I stand up.

"Please call me, If he goes out of the emergency room." I said to them.

"No problem Kian but where are you going?" Tito asked.

"Just there outside, I just need some time." I said.

"Okay." Tito said as he continues to make Tita feel better.

"Do you like anything to eat? I'll buy it if you want to." I asked them.

"No. Were good." Tito said and I walk towards the lobby.

Moments later Tita called me and said that Troy has been out Emergency room and has been brought to the lab and now I am heading to room 204 because troy was brought inside a private room in the hospital.

I quickly run as fast as I could to go to his room. As I was near the door I heard Troy's voice he's awake now. I was about to enter but I heard her mom crying. "Troy, you need to go to Canada so that you will be treated, the doctor said that your condition is getting even worse this is because you stopped undergoing treatments for like two months." His dad said.

"Dad, I just want to live a normal life." Troy said.

Moments of silence have conquered them.

"Please Troy, please listen to us. It's for your good." Her mom pleaded as she cries. "Are there any chances that I will be cured in Canada?" Troy asked as I heard him sigh.

"Yes, Troy. I have friends there that are experts in this kind of cases." His dad said. "Let me think of it." Troy said.

"By the way why didn't you tell Kian about your sickness?" His dad said.

"I was afraid." Troy said. "Did you tell him?" Troy added.

"I'm sorry dear but yes. We thought you already told him and were talking about it while he was still there, besides he's your boyfriend, he has the right to know." His mom said.

"Where is he?" Troy asked.

"He went outside." His dad said.

"Dear was very sorry we already mentioned it to Kian, a while ago me and your father are arguing about this matter in front of Kian only to found out that he doesn't know about this." His mom said.

"It's okay mom, I was about to tell Kian about this but fate has taken over." Troy said to his mom.

I entered the room and they were all looking at me. "How do you feel?" I asked him.

"I'm feeling much better now." He answered. A moment of silence has conquered us.

"Kian. Troy. We will just go outside to get some food and clothes. We will be back." His dad said.

"You two should talk." His mom said.

"Okay, Tita and Tito. Take care." I said to them and they headed to the door and go outside.

"So, when are you planning to tell me?" I asked him.

"Believe me, I am going to tell you." Troy said.

"I'm just afraid that you might leave me. It was 2 years when I found out that I have Leukemia. For over one and a half year I undergo many treatments but lately, I refused to take them." Troy added.

"And going to Canada would help you be treated." I said.

"Yes." He replied. "But I won't go there." Troy said.

"What? Are you insane? Why wouldn't you go there if that's the only way for you to be cured?" I said. He did not answer me instead he just looked me in the eye and he started crying. I come to him and hug him.

"Hey what's the matter? What's the problem?" I asked him.

"I'm just afraid, what if there is no cure? What if there's no chance at all." He said while crying.

"How you know if you didn't even try." I said to him.

"Yeah, but you know how fear eats me up." He said.

"Yeah. But please don't cry." I said to him as I hugged him. He continues to cry on my shoulders.

"You should go to Canada." I said.

"What?" he said as he wipes his tears.

"I said you should go to Canada." I said. "What about you? I don't want to leave you." He said.

"You will never leave me. We will always be together because of our love that builds a connection." I said.

He didn't respond. "Please listen to your parents. They just want the best for you as well as me, I want you to be cured." I said. He lifts his head.

"Okay, but please tell them that I need time. I want to enjoy being here before going to Canada for like how many months or years." He said and he cries again.

"I love you okay? And I will wait for you no matter what." I said and kissed him.
