****Colin in the photo above****

School was finally over and I was on my way to work. I couldn't contain my enthusiasm. As I approach the door of 'The Kazu' even though I knew he wasn't there yet. I entered  hearing Michael arguing with the new waitress, poor girl I thought to myself. The resturant wasn't that crowded yet, it was still early in the afternoon. I tried to go to the staff locker room unnoticed because I was five minutes late and I knew Michael always timed me.

"And where do u think your going Missy" Michael barked. Damn I got caught. I turned around slowly trying not to let him think I was sneaking past him.

"Oh hey Michael, whats crack-a-lacking. Did u get a haircut you look neat today"

"I know what your doing Tiana and I'm not falling for it. Your five minutes late. Why and it better be a good reason, not like the last time when you said you died in a car accident while you were right in front of me. Now speak or do you want all this lateness coming out your salary"

"No Sir. I was stuck in train traffic, you know coming to Manhattan from Brooklyn is hard with all them trains crossing the tunnel." Which was the truth and Michael knew that because he used to live in Brooklyn, and he always complained about the train traffic stops.

He huffed knowing that I was telling the truth. "Okay, hurry up we have customers to serve"

I smiled to my victory win over Michael. "Yes Sir" I said saluting him like someone in the army.

After changing into my working uniform which was black jeans and a white button-down shirt with the 'The Kazu' logo at the top right, I felt nervous going outside to face the crowd knowing that he would be there now.

As I burst through the locker room door walking toward the main dining room I was greeted by some of my co-workers now entering to start their shift, like me but only they were super later than I was, take that Michael, see I'm not the only one late.

Entering the dining room the receptionist gived me the menus to distribute to the people that were just seated at there tables, and one of the menu's was his. As I walked towards his table I couldn't help but feel nervous.

There he was Colin Steele. He was a regular costumer here, he came in every afternoon. He was a lawyer and CEO of his own Law Firm and one of the richest and youngest bachelors in New York , but when you look at him you just see a regular young man by how natural he looked, you wouldn't be able to tell he own his own company if Michael hadn't brag about the wealthiest man eating at his restaurant.

"G-good afternoon sir, are you ready for your menu" I said timidly.

He was looking down at the pile of paper work infront of him. Then he looked up at me and smiled.

"Yes please, I'm ready" I blush feeling like I might get a heartattack. He was so handsome with his beautiful ocean blue eyes. He was tanned and had blonde hair that is always messy like he comb his fingers through it all the time. He was very muscular, it looked like he lifted alot of weights. And when he smiled he had the most sexiest pair of dimples I've ever seen.

"Are you okay" he asked concerned looking up at me. Oh no I was staring. I'm such an idiot.

"Oh no I-I'm so sorry, will you please excuse me" I hurried out the dining room to the bathroom almost running. I locked myself in a stall then sat on the toilet and cried. Why was I so stupid, who was I kidding Colin Steele didn't want me, the only reason he noticed me was because he had to go through me to get his food, other than that I was invisible to him. I wasn't his type of girl, he didn't want no kinki headed mixed black girl like me. I sobbed somemore when I heard my name being called.

"Tiana, I know your in here, I saw you run in, whats wrong"

That sounded like Macy, the closest friend I had. She knew about my crush on Colin and every other drama that went on in my life.

I opened the stall door so she could see me.

"Goodness Ti look at you, what did you do this time"

"I stared" I cried harder.

"No not the stare" Macy said in shock. "Don't worry I think when the time is right you will find a guy that will notice you and treat you like the queen you are. Just have patience my friend" she said with confidence, which was easy for her to say. She was beautiful with straight long black hair and grey eyes. She had a perfect slim figure with smooth nice long legs. Getting a guy's attention was as easy as snapping her fingers.

"Thanks Mace" we hugged as I realise her I released that I was still on the toilet.

"You do know this is super akward right" I said to Macy.

"Hush don't ruin the moment" we both laughed.
