(Really long chapter)

Natasha joins them in their battle with the robots.

"Romanoff!" shouts Steve, and he throws his shield at her so she can use it to protect herself from the attacking robot.

"Thanks," Nat says to him after.

Back with Stark.

"The anti-gravs are rigged to flip. Touch 'em, they'll go full reverse thrust," informs FRIDAY, "The city's not coming down slow."

"The spire's Vibranium," clues Tony, "If I get Thor to hit it.."

"It'll crack," it tells him, "but that's not enough, the impact would still be devastating."

"Maybe if we cap the other end, keep the atomic action doubling back."

"That could vaporize the city, and everyone on it."

"The next wave's gonna hit any minute," Steve's voice rings on comms, "What have you got, Stark?"

"Well, nothing great," he mumbles the first response, "Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface if you guys can get clear."

"I asked for a solution," snaps Steve, "not an escape plan."

"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're going to have to make a choice."

"Cap, these people are going nowhere," says Natasha, "If Stark finds a way to blow this rock-"

"Not 'til everyone's safe," Steve cuts her off.

"Everyone up here versus everyone down there? There's no math there."

"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it."

"I didn't say we should leave, There's worse ways to go," Natasha looks at the sky while Steve watches her, "Where else am I gonna get a view like this?"

"Glad you like the view, Romanoff," a familiar voice speaks on everyone's comms, "It's about to get better." Just then the Helicarrier appears right beside the city and infront of the duo. "Nice, right? I pulled her out of mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do."

Pietro and Kai zoom to the edge of the city near Steve and Natasha. Pietro had carried her there with his speed.

"Pa!" a smile grows onto her face, remembering what he said earlier 'something dramatic' of course he comes right when they start to loose hope.

"Hey kiddo."

"Pa?" asks Pietro, who was by her side.

"Fury, you son of a bitch," says Steve relieved.

"Language!" Kai smirks trying to hide her laugh.

"Oooh!" Fury replies with a sarcastic comment, "You kiss your mother with that mouth, Rogers?"

"Altitude is eighteen thousand and climbing," announces Maria.

The Helicarrier releases a bunch of lifeboats to evacuate the civilians.

"This is SHIELD?" Pietro asks smiling admiring the helicarrier.

Kai grabs his hand and he looks at her, "This is what SHIELD's supposed to be."

Pietro looks back at the ship then at her again, "This is not so bad."

Their lips connect for a short kiss. Steve watches them confused while Natasha smirks.
