LeoPika: Kurta Custom ~Birthday Speacial~

This Chapter was inspired by @puhzquetty on Tik Tok, and I thought it would perfect for the one-shots. I 10/10 recommend checking out her Tik Tok and watching her skits. Anyway, enjoy!

What a beautiful day today was. The Sun was shining, the wind was blowing, and children were out egg hunting with family and friends. It was none other than easter day, but today was also the one and only Kurapika Kurta's birthday.

When Kurapika woke up it was about 9 .a.m. and to his surprise, Leorio wasn't in bed. Kurapika sat up and stretched his arms. he got up and yawned, opening his curtains to reveal the sun as the light lit up the room.

He checked his calendar and marked off the day. "Oh right, today's my birthday." The blond mumbled. Kurapika got dressed into his Kurta outfit like always and headed to the kitchen.

When the blond entered the Kitchen Leorio...wasn't..there. It was strange so the kurta walked to Leorio's office. And there he was...working. And quite frankly Kurapika was pissed.

How could Leorio work on Kurapika's one day off!?! Let alone his birthday. It's very rare that Kurapika gets a day off and Leorio's working on it! Instead of Kurapika going on a rampage he took a deep breath and turned around and walked into the kitchen.

Kurapika made himself breakfast and checked his phone. He saw a Happy Birthday text from Gon and Killua, followed up with another text saying that him and Gon were coming over at 4:00-4:30.

Kurapika smiled and finished his eggs. He put his dish in the sink and walked to Leorio's office.

Kurapika walked in and hung on the side of the door. "Leorio, love." The kurta said. Leorio spun his chair around and smiled. "Good Morning Sunshine,"

Kurapika walked over to Leorio and stood in front of him. Leorio followed that action by wrapping his arms around the kurta's waist.

"Love, do you know what today is?" The blond said. Kurapika smiled, but it wasn't out of joy. it was one of those smiles where when someone had it they were planning something.

"Yea, it's Sunday. Why do you ask Sunshine?" Leorio questioned. "No Leorio whats's today." "Oh! it's Sunday, April 4th." Kurapika scoffed. "You don't know what today is!?!" Kurapika said obviously angry.

Leorio was...well confused. He in fact didn't know what 'today' actually was. All he knew is that it was Sunday, April 4th. "Is it not April 4th?" Leorio asked.

"Love what is on April 4th?" Leorio thought for a moment, "Easter?" Kurapika angrily huffed. "You really don't know what today is Leorio!?" Now Leorio was beyond confused, while Kurapika on the other hand was pissed.

"No, I don't. What's today Sunshine?" Kurapika took Leorio's hands off his waist and yelled "it's my Birthday Leorio! It's my Birthday! April 4th!"

Kurapika's eyes flashed red, and that's when Leorio knew...he done messed up.

"I-It is..?" Leorio said nervously. "O-of course it is! I- I knew that Sunshine! heh heh...heh"

"I can't believe you Leorio." And that's when it hit him...a great idea that would make today the best birthday he possibly could ever have. Kurapika smirked.

"Hey Leoiro, have you ever heard of 'The Kurta Custom'?"

"the 'Kurta Custom'..? No, what is that sunshine." Kurapika eagerly smirked. "The Kurta custom is a set of rules us kurta came up with. And in Kurta Custom when a lover forgets one's birthday you must make them a meal of forgiveness." "Really? Well, how come you never told me about the Kurta Custom?" Leorio questioned.

"Well, I guess something triggered a memory." Leorio got up from his desk and held Kurapika's waist. "Do I really have to make you a meal?" "Of course, it's kurta custom," The blond smirked.

Leorio sighed and walked into the kitchen. Now Kurapika did in fact already eat but he wasn't going to tell that to Leorio, because he had to abide by 'The Kurta Custom'.

This went on all day, Kurta Custom this Kurta Custom that.

~later at 3:59 p.m.~

Leorio and Kurapika were laying together on the sofa watching a movie. "hey Leorio..?-" "no, no no- let me guess. A simple, yet easily obtainable favor- if only you asked nicely- under the guise of 'The Kurta Custom'?" "I was gonna tell you I love you...I guess not then." "Wait- no! Te-tell me sunshine! Tell me you love me..."

"Well now I don't want to..." The Kurta pouted. "Come on sunshine please?" Kurapika sighed, "Well in Kurta Custom-" "...Kurta Custom.." Leorio whined mocking a crying face. "A good way to ask for forgiveness is to give a Kurta a kiss or something..."

This time, Leorio couldn't complain, because this one he'd actually been waiting for Kurapika to say all day. Leorio lightly grabbed Kurapika's face turning it toward him. "Gladly." And with that Leorio kissed Kurapika, moving his hand to cup his cheek.

Kurapika moved his hand and moved it behind Leorio's neck, gradually but lightly, gripping the back of Leorio's hair. Kurapika slipped his tongue into Leoiro's mouth and that's when the small kiss turned into a 10-minute makeout session.

Kurapika over whelmed by pleasure, casually gave soft, quite moans. Leorio slowly ran his hand down Kurapika's slick figure, pulling him a little closer.

Soon enough the sound of keys in the door were able to be heard but did Leorio or Kurapika hear it? Nope, not at all. The door opened and in the doorway were Killua and Gon. Gon was holding a cake while laughing as Killua scoffed.

When they entered the apartment they saw Kurapika and Leorio making out on the couch as a movie played on the tv. Soon enough Kurapika noticed the 2 boys standing in the doorway, "Are we interrupting something here?" Killua said as Gon closed the door. Kurapika and Leoiro quickly parted and Kurapika whipped his mouth.

The blond nervously laughed, "Hah..ha no uh no not at all." "Mhm..right ok. anyway, we brought-" "Cake! We bought you cake Kurapika!" Gon finished. Kurapika smiled, "Oh you guys didn't have to do that." "But we did! It's your birthday Kurapika!" "Speaking of that." Kurapika turned around and looked at Leorio.

"Leorio, you know it's Kurta Custom to tell a Kurta Happy Birthday on their birthday, and you have yet to say it to me. Why is that?" Kurapika asked. Leorio got up. "Oh sorry sunshine! Happy birthday!"

"Can we hurry up, I want cake" Killua said and Kurapika laughed.

They had cake and sung happy birthday.

after 4 hours of talking and eating Gon and Killua got tired and fell asleep. But instead of Kurapika and Leorio driving them back home they instead brought them to the spare bedroom they had just in case this happened.

After getting them all tucked in Kurapika and Leorio got in their nightclothes and turned off all the lights and laid down in the living room on the couch all cuddled up.

"Hey, Leorio?" "yes, Sunshine?" "You know the 'Kurta Custom' thing?" Leorio nodded closing his eyes. "yea what about is Sunshine?" Kurapika smiled, "That was a lie...there's no such thing as 'the kurta custom'" The Kurta Chuckled. "It was to get back at you for forgetting my birthday."

Leorio chuckled, "I guess I deserved it, I did forget your birthday." "yep and if you forget it again you will retgret it for the rest of your life."

Leorio kissed the blond's head. Leorio noticed that Kurapika had fallen asleep. "Happy Birthday sunshine." And with that, the two fell asleep in each other's arms, Kurapika wrapped in Leorio's grasp.
