Sam~

"Get up" a gruff voice barked at him.

I was grabbed by the arm and pulled out of my cell that had been my home for nearly the past two years.

"They said to let you go your taking up to many resources" the man said.

"Why would Arobryn let me go" I asked him.

He laughed a deep grating noise "Arobryn's been dead for a while he pissed off the wrong people" he warned.

"So who's in charge now" I wonder out loud.

"Celeana Sardorthian inherited everything when he died but she made Terne and Mullen pay her to gain control of his estate" he lets me know.

"Do you know where Celeana is now" I ask hopefully.

"I have no clue its like she disappeared off the face of Erilia last I saw her she was hanging around some pretty important people" he says with no care in the world.

"What do you mean by that" I question.

"She came here a few times to bargin with Arobryn once by herself and the other time with a fae male and the General of the kings armies the day that he was killed, we all suspected her of course but our spies saw her on the roof of her apartment the whole night, poor Lysandra woke up and found him dead in bed next to her" he told me while shaking his head.

"Well here we are" he said as he pushed me out of the guild "Good luck out there" he waved then slammed the ornate wood door.

I stood for a minute as my eyes adjusted to the bright sunlight then I walked out of the estate nodding to the guards on my way out.

As I walked I only had one thought where is Celeana, is she safe, and happy?

Finally I noticed my surroundings the city was full of life and laughter it was no longer dark and dirty and the familiar sounds of crying kids weren't filling the air.

And instead of just the flag of Adalan hung from people's window sills there was a green flag hung next to it.

A lot had changed in the two years I had been locked in a cell.

Across the street there was a crowd of children gathered around a puppet show, I was curious to watch show was being put on.

My Ce always loved theater and music maybe one of the performers had seen her.

But the play was nothing I had ever seen before The Prevail of Aelin and Dorian the sign read.

I stood next to one of the parents watching their kid "What the play about" I asked her she kept one eye one her little girl but turned to me "It's about Queen Aelin and King Dorians fight against the Valg.

The kids absolutly adore the stories they alway act out the stories when they play together and all of the stores sell Aelin, Dorian, and their courts costumes and toys its all my daughter has been asking for." she tells me.

"If you don't mind me asking I've been living of the gird for the past few years what happened?" I ask her.

"Well Prince Dorian and Princess Aelin teamed up to fight a demon army that had invaded Erilia and the Princes father was leading the Army so the Princess killed him, them and their courts saved us all" she exclaims.

"Thank you" I say nodding to her then I walk away.

I walk into a nearby store and what the lady said is indeed true there are dresses and dolls all over the places with the title Valg Slayers on them but one doll catches my eye, there is a doll with blonde hair and blue gold eyes named Queen Aelin in the middle of the rack.

It reminds my of my mission so I grab a new shirt and some food and go to pay for it with the money the guard snuck into my hand as he left.

"Just this" I tell the cleric as he's counting my total I ask "have you seen Celeana Sardorthian around here" "I don't think so even if I had no one ever saw her face so I would't be able to tell" he laughs.

"Last I heard of her though she won the kings champion contest but then everything went to hell with the demons and witches" he says.

Then I pay for my food and leave.

The only place I can think Celeana would go to would be her homeland Terrasan the rare times she spoke about it always sounded fond.

And if she was not there I would try the Southern Continent to start over and escape all of the crazy.

Until next time peace out!
