Remember when you were younger and always wondered what you would look like when you grew up?

Well that's her, she's come along way learned to internalize that pain as fuel to keep pushing

Well that's her, she's come along way learned to internalize that pain as fuel to keep pushing.

Forward.

It was hard, but she prevailed against the odds that were stacked up against her.

Miraculous is how I would describe it.

She was able to translate raw emotions into words, it became her therapy.

In the midst of heartbreak and strained relationships she found solace in her work.

Misunderstood but understood through her words, that's growth.

Writing for days at a time until she could Find the words to describe how she felt to move on.

Closure is what she discovered, a weight lifted off her shoulders.

I don't think we give ourselves credit for our mental growth, we spend too much of our youth glamorizing our 20s.

It's the naivety of our teenage years that cloud our judgment, setting up unrealistic expectations, let's end that.

You owe yourself that and much more.

I just realized that this story is #1 on poetry at the moment, that's insane. 4years ago I started writing on Wattpad with hopes that my work may touch people, it makes me emotional knowing that years later it did that.
