The strong scent of wet, rusty metal filled the air and the two dark silhouettes' noses as the rain was finally letting down. The clouds started moving out of the way so the reflection of the moon was visible in the big puddles that were stretching on the ground, a few feet underneath the massive containers that the figures were standing on, not moving a muscle for a good five minutes at least. They were observing.

An SUV pulled up on the docks and four men in dark suits got out at about the same time. One of the containers was opened and they all went inside, leaving the door cracked open.

Both figures went separate ways as they climbed down and reached the large, metallic door wrapped up with loose chains. They looked at each other and nodded slightly before they forcefully pulled the door open and ambushed the men. It didn't take them much to take out each one of them, the only problem they encountered being a Glock 19 that very nearly pierced one of the assassins' right shoulder.

"You okay?" A feminine British voice asked, showing almost no concern at all, probably asking the question more out of politeness.

She received a glare as they both took out pocket knives and started carving a heart with curved line through the middle of it on the dead people's foreheads. It was a warning they often used in the name of Leviathan for the SSR.

"Please." The taller one scoffed. "As if you would actually care, Wexford." She crouched down and finished her masterpiece.

The shorter woman snapped her head toward where the other one was dusting herself off.

"Don't use my real name!" She gasped as she got up and tucked the little weapon back in her pocket. "You just revealed my identity!"

"To four corpses! Relax." She defended herself.

"They could be listening to us at this very moment." Wexford explained as she threw her hands in the air, gesturing at the container they were in. "Now I see why they made us team up. You are reckless."

"I'm reckless? Why don't you come closer and say that again right to my face?" She challenged and rolled her sleeves up, readying herself for another fight.

"We're on a mission and I'm the mature one, so that is not going to happen. Not right here, not right now." A devilish grin formed on her face as her eyes sparkled and she couldn't hold back a smirk. "Although we both know who'd win."

"Keep lying to yourself."

"We gotta get moving, Ida." Wexford announced as sirens started wailing faintly afar from the docks.

After all, this area was highly populated by the lower class and one of the guys fired his gun a couple times. Someone must've called 911 at some point and they wasted minutes with their stupid argument.

They both broke into a run and hopped in their own SUV. Ida started the engine immediately and the tires screeched as she swerved rapidly. They left marks on the asphalt and Ida forced the engine as much as she could.

"Can you see them?" She asked Wexford, who just rolled her window down and stuck her head out of the car. "Katherine!"

"They all pulled up at the docks, we're good." She let out a sigh of relief as she sat back in her seat. She brought her knees to her chest and started observing the pretty lights on either side of the road. The more they drove into the city the brighter the streets got, with all the big store signs and billboards.

"You know, you'll have to clean that seat." The blonde said in a neutral voice. She had just taken her balaclava off and was still trying to fix her hair in the rear view mirror whenever she could take her eyes off the road.
