Once Again: hua cheng x fem reader

Y/n l/n was from Xie le kingdom along with her cousin xie lian. Due to impressing the emperor, they both ascended to heaven and became the emperor's adoptive children.
Making xie lian the crowned prince and y/n the royal princess

"Royal princess, where are you going?" The maid had asked

"I'm going to see xie lian, he's ascended today"

I walked out and see xie lian being ridiculed and mocked, but he did not seem to care.
He was beaming and laughing like a child.

"Look, it's the royal princess"

Everyone bowed and greeted

"Xie gege, welcome back"

"Hello, my dearest baby cousin"

We briefly gave each other a hug and went to go meet ling wen.

"Hi ling wen, how are you doing these days?"

"I'm fine, your highness. Let's go to the telepathy hall, shall we?"

We walked into the telepathy hall filled with chatter.

"Greetings to the royal princess and oh, it's you, xie lian. Again."

"Hello!" Xie lian smiled awkwardly and waved

"Please show respect to my cousin as you would to me, i would appreciate it" i smiled nicely

"Sorry, your highness." Everyone bowed

One of the gods piped up and said "missing brides have been disappearing at Yu Jun mountain, if we could bother your highnesses, may you go and check it out?"

Xie lian and i looked at each other

"Sure, we'll leave tomorrow morning"

At this time, one of the gods, Nan yang, spoke up.

"If your highness will let me, could my junior, nan feng accompany you for safety purposes?"

At this time, another one of the gods, Xuan Zhen spoke up as well.

"Since Nan Yang is sending someone, may my junior, Fu Yao accompany you as well?"

"Sending my junior is already enough, no need to send yours, xuan zhen" nan feng said gritting his teeth

"Why can you send your junior but I can't?" Xuan zhen scoffed

"2 seniors, please do not get angry. I will accept both juniors." I smiled

"Nan feng" "fu yao" both gods simultaneously said

"Yes, master?" "Yes, master?" Both juniors walked in

"You'll be accompanying the highnesses on the mission tomorrow"

"Pleasure to be of assistance" both juniors bowed

I waved and smiled

"We'll be taking off tomorrow, thank you for your help"

The 2 juniors slightly blushed and stammered

"I-it's our p-pleasure"

The next day:

We used the teleportation spell to teleport to Yu Jun mountain

"Wow, look at the scenery" xie lian said in awe

"It's just trees, what are you talking about?" Nan feng exclaimed

"Are we almost there? I'm about to be bored to death" fu yao said as he yawned

"We're about to reach the village entrance. When we arrive, remember to keep a low-profile. We wouldn't want to attract unnecessary attention and don't harm the civilians, understood?"

"Yes, royal princess"

We arrived at an inn and got settled before we heard shouting outside

"This maiden, don't be fooled! They're only using you to lure out the ghost groom to get the bounty!" A young women said

"Why are you butting in our business, ugly?!" The bald man yelled

The young women pushed through and and knocked the caravan over to save the "bride" but a fake bride was revealed.

"You ruined our plan, ugly!" He pushed her to the ground and was about to smack her when my hand intervened, stopping him.

"Please refrain from hitting her" i said

"Who do we have here? Another busybody? A quite pretty one, might i add" the man chuckled as he reached to touch my face

"What gives you for you to think you have the right to touch her highness?" Nan feng spoke up as he grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back as fu yao held a sword to his neck.

"What are you doing?! Let me go before i beat you up!"

The juniors scoffed and said "what makes you think it won't be you getting beaten up?"

"Nan feng, fu yao, let go of him. I told you not to harm the civilians here and keep a low-profile."

I helped the young woman up

"Are you alright? What's your name?"

"Yes I'm fine, thank you for your help. I'm xiao ying. Who are you people?"

"We're here to find the ghost groom and exorcise"

"I'm afraid the ghost groom won't capture you unless you're a bride"

"Then I'll become one"

"Royal princess, I'm afraid you can't do that, we're here to ensure your safety and that is too dangerous"

"I'm afraid nan feng is right. It's too dangerous" xie lian said

"It will be fine, we'll leave tonight"
